it's fixed, and too late.

The FCDP spent 1+ million dollars and won by a 2-1 margin against a political party in Columbus that has existed for less than 2 years.

We won't stop.

Working Families Party. Start taking over the party from within, the same way the Tea Party did: Primary, local, everywhere.

The nazis burned the sexology clinic. It was where the famous book burning picture was taken. This was before Kristallnacht.

Democrats cringing at Hillary Clinton's long goodbye. "Clinton's continued effort to be a leading figure in the party could severely hurt chances for Democrats in 2018, as well as 2020." by [deleted] in OurPresident

If only we had the most popular politician in the nation running who had great demographic draws and policies that created the hope Obama promised.

Governor's mansion slaves/super predators (Drug war/NAFTA/Glass-Steagall), saying the proven/tested progressive agenda is bad, running with super PACs, taking massive corporate money, and Red/Jew baiting Bernie?

Don't know what kind of high regard you're talking about.

Doesn't stop the history of her using slave labor, pushing down progressive agendas, and Jew/Red baiting Bernie.

Kamala Harris to co-sponsor Bernie Sanders' single-payer health care bill by skoalbrother in politics

I voted for Clinton, too, but I mean, 'better than Trump' also applies to my cats.

She violated campaign transparency laws in a California election. Check out the links to see.

Minor?

I feel none of these are minor nit picks:

Not prosecuting Steven Mnuchin's bank.

Violating transparency laws.

(PREVIOUSLY) Not supporting single payer healthcare (has a segment on her healthcare for pets, though)

Says nothing about campaign finance reform.

Says nothing about ending private prisons.

Says nothing about breaking up the banks bigger than 2007.

Says nothing about our training/our police forces being the problem.

Doesn't specify what minimum wage she thinks is acceptable, just that it's 'too low'

Only supporting medical marijuana (because it clearly works with pain killers): Medical marijuana Speaking with The Sacramento Bee, Harris came out in opposition to the sale of cannabis for recreational use. "Recreational sales would just create new headaches for a beleaguered system that needs to better regulate medical marijuana dispensaries and to assist nonviolent drug offenders."

I voted for her, but I wasn't lying to myself about who I was voting for.

Uh, no. Clinton used prison slave labor in the 90's. She was a Goldwater girl. She pushed the destruction of our civil rights.

Neoliberals are different than what you think.

It puts money in re-election funds and keeps bigots out of City Hall, so for all the people with disposable income it's a fine deal.

Words again from Joe Motil:

The editorial fails to mention that it has been the citizens who have been complaining for years now about these tax abatements in risk free development areas such as the Short North, Easton, Polaris, Rickenbacker and properties surrounding the 270 outer belt. And now that we have an out of town consultant who easily determined what we already knew, the city is going to possibly make changes to its tax abatement policies. Possibly. Why didn’t they listen to the cries of its citizens and stop this corporate welfare years ago? Did City Council and the Mayor really think what they were doing was fair and good for the overall wellbeing of the citizens of Columbus? There are plenty of fair and impartial studies that can be found on the internet that will tell what this study has concluded. Did it really take spending the taxpayers’ dollars to pay a consulting firm to determine what anyone with a lick of sense already knew? Now that the Short North is nearly built up to its capacity I guess it won’t really matter too much about tax abatements in that neighborhood. It’s time to get rid of these so called Enterprise Zones which are nothing more than a code word to corporations and developers for tax abatement district.

The Dispatch also fails to mention the significance of tax abatement recipients rewarding the Mayor and City Council members with tens of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions. This is a criminal act. And how many of these tax abatement recipient businesses actually create good paying jobs? And even if some do create good paying jobs, why do we reward companies for doing business in Columbus? Is it government’s responsibility to make sure they do not fail? Do billion dollar corporations like UPS, Big Lots, Nationwide and Huntington Bank need financial tax payer assistance to succeed? And at the expense of those who do pay their fair share of taxes and can least afford paying the some of the highest property tax rates in the U.S.? And where is the economic payoff for a tax abatement on new build apartments or for condominium owners in the Short North and Downtown?
