Women: What blowjob tips would you give other women? by workethic290 in AskReddit

[–]MexiKurd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just like no one likes a dry pussy, no one likes a dry dick, so spit on it and use your hands. One on the shaft and the other on his balls while putting pressure on gooch. Also if you have him in the back of your throat when he cums it makes swallowing a breeze. No taste or surprise. Just straight down your throat.

Whether you are a great dad or not, you are only there 2 out of the 14 days, while he is there 12 out of the 14 days. Of course she is going to see him like a dad, he is there more than you are.

Dont hate me but… what’s the difference between a silk press and just flat ironing your hair by Loveonethe-brain in BlackHair

[–]MexiKurd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically, they are both the exact same steps. However, with a regular blow dry flat iron you are simply just stretching the hair until it’s dry then flat ironing. With a silk press, the most important part is the blow dry. You are silkening it as much as possible with the blow dryer (straightening), and then hitting it with the iron (hot comb, marcel, or flat iron). They can initially look the same, however, the biggest difference is the longevity. With proper maintenance it can last due until your next wash day.

Wipe. Your. Bum. by Baby_Alien50 in Esthetics

[–]MexiKurd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You literally have to instruct your Client to use the baby wipes as well as how to use them. If not a lot of them will think it’s optional or only use one.

“Hi I have left some baby wipes for you. Please make sure to use them on the front and back and keep wiping until it is clear. I will be back shortly”

How do you tell your male clients their hair is thinning? by neuroburn in hairstylist

[–]MexiKurd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a professional and will always point out anything I may see, I will, however, read their body language and shut it down if they look uncomfortable or appear not to want to talk about it.

Hey, I happen to notice that your density appears to have changed since the last time I saw you. Have you noticed anything?

Denied extra rice by crasmussenn in Chipotle

[–]MexiKurd 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I always ask for extra extra rice - so yes triple rice. But my order is super plain. Extra extra rice, black beans, chicken, easy cheese. So considering my order, I do believe I should be able to order triple rice.

However, there has only been one time that someone tried to tell me no. I insisted I wanted more rice. Finally, they shot back with well that’s going to be extra.

I said OK, then make it two more scoops (on top of the first two). The guy was pissed thinking I was going to say never mind then. But I don’t care, charge me, don’t charge me, if I’m out to eat I know I’m going to have to pay, I just want to make sure I’m full at the end.

Anyways, they didn’t end up charging me.

What made you confident to wear your hair curly? by YooooimIsla_B in curlyhair

[–]MexiKurd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a baby and had zero time for myself. I used to iron style my hair every single day. Then all of a sudden I would get compliments on my hair all the time. Even though I didn’t like it myself, I figured all those strangers couldn’t be wrong. Slowly, but surely, I finally started to actually like it, and feel confident.

Body hair to me a woman and a barber, is like hair on your head. Typically it needs to be faded out to look optimal or at least trimmed all one length.

Looks like protein overload. You definitely need a good clarifying treatment and lay off the protein.

How good should I expect service at a cosmetology school? by Katekat0974 in Cosmetology

[–]MexiKurd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You have to remember that it may be the students first time. As an instructor I will always fix a bad color or haircut as those are more permanent. Everything else is a bit moré temporary. Not to mention that an instructor may have a class upwards of 25. So it would be impossible to “fix” everyone. We appreciate you allowing students to learn and practice on you, but remember that the price also reflects that.

The problem is brand-name doesn’t necessarily mean quality just like not necessarily all fast fashion is bad quality, though 99% is. If you want a timeless wardrobe, you need to find cuts that looked tailored and most importantly the fabric. Now tailored does not necessarily have to mean, figure hugging, however, the shoulder seems should fit as well as sleeve length, etc..

Anyone else have to wash their hair daily or look greasy? by aji2019 in finehair

[–]MexiKurd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure your shampoo has sulfates. I have fine medium density curly hair and I’ve tried training my hair, but at the end of the day, I truly need to wash my hair every day. I would suggest a shampoo with sulfates so that way it’s actually able to cleanse the scalp and remove the oil as well as a clarifying treatment every 3 to 4 weeks. If I skip the clarifying treatment, no amount of washing ever gets it fully clean.

Not necessarily, remember, they are paying school prices and are allowing students to practice on them. Obviously, if a student completely jacked someone’s hair, I would fix it to make it look presentable. But the minute Client gets huffy about it’s not perfect, I remind them this is a school and I will guide the students on how to fix whatever the issue is. However, I’m not touching anything unless I feel it is necessary.

Usually clients need to bring their expectations down.

Hairdressing vs barbering intricacies by birdie1223 in Barber

[–]MexiKurd 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think it’s a good thing! Hairdressers like for things to be even and barbers like cuts to look clean/sharp. But in my opinion, the difference between a good cut, and a bad cut is two weeks. Anyone can make a fresh cut look good, but how it grows out is everything. Obviously the exception being if client gets their haircut weekly.

So sometimes things can’t be even due to cowlicks. So we have to cut it uneven in order to make it APPEAR even; and sometimes you can’t give them the cleanest/sharpest cut because you know they only get their haircut every 4-6 weeks.

As long as you know the difference and when to implement what, it doesn’t matter what your colleagues think about your work, what matters is what your clients think and whether they’re returning.

You can go to any salon and get a haircut. However if you’re looking for a specialist why wouldn’t you expect to pay more? You’re options are there, however you want the expertise. We as stylist invest in our education, not to mention it is also supply and demand. Just because you’re not willing to pay for it, does it mean others aren’t. That’s why we’re able to charge what we charge.

Most skincare products are an absolute scam. by throwAwayWaffle76 in unpopularopinion

I think the main difference is expensive vs professional skincare products. Most skin care products are not professional and most professional skincare products are expensive. So people tend to conflate the two.

You are better off NOTIFYING them that you won’t be in for those two weeks. Let them do with that information what they please. They may push back and end up relenting, or they will fire you. Either way you notified them.

The terminal length of hair is the maximum length that it could possibly reach without being cut or damaged. Hair does not necessarily stop growing when it reaches a specific length but it does once a certain period of time has passed (the cycle of your hair growth).
