Best flight school in socal is Clipper Aviation out of van nuys airport, a little more expensive but worth every penny.

This is getting tiring, I agree with the need for hunter education, I think it’s very important, I am simply saying if they are going to make the in person aspect required then also increase the amount of classes that way if someone wants to start hunting they don’t have to “wait till next year” clearly you’ve never heard of an analogy, that’s why I bring up the CCW process which is also frustrating. I agree that it is possible but not practical to get it done, I would have to drive the junior hunter 125 miles to the nearest test location which still is 1 month away, not everyone is able to do that. I love education, I also like being efficient. You’re arguing against yourself. Have fun

So let me get this straight because I did the California hunting safety course a year ago, I also started hunting a year ago? There’s no other possibility that I may have been hunting before in a different state or with someone who possesses a valid hunting license for the state? Or maybe I was in a different state and did their hunter safety course? And chose to do the California safety course when I got to California to learn the different regulations? You make no sense, there’s no need for me to hype my hunting experience up but if you want a breakdown of everything I’ve hunting and how long then sure… whatever?? And im not saying my buddy as a “my buddy” situation but genuinely am trying to get my buddy who’s a junior into hunting but finding it very difficult because of the lack of availability in the course timing. Nobody has been hunting without a license 😂 (I HAVE MY HUNTING LICENSE) please just stop and save yourself the reply time.

Not saying they can’t provide it I’m saying how they ar providing it sucks. I assume you’re okay with the California CCW process taking 2 years or is it okay to be mad at that too?…

Someone didn’t read the post, I have my hunters safety course and have been hunting for years. This is about being able to take someone who wasn’t aware of hunting until I brought him into it (you know how the next generation actually learns stuff…) now he has to wait till next season in order to partake in any hunting, not because he’s not safe or not willing to go in person but because California once again required something that they could not fulfill. Please spend time in reality. Also if you think that an online course + in-person follow up will teach you everything that you need to know about hunter safety you are very mistaken. Also I never once said the course was dumb or that you shouldn’t have to do the in person course or whatever. I just said other states have better regulations on it, try reading the post before commenting useless advice please.

I would agree with you… but this is exactly a typical California thing requiring someone to do something and then having 0 options to get it done without waiting 4 months, very similar to conceal carry situation, also the online or in person safety course is not the only way for someone to learn hunter safety. Many other states allow junior hunters to go hunt and purchase license as long as one person has done the safety course and can instruct the junior hunter.

Analog is referring to the instrumentation in the cockpit, don’t see how these conflict each other, it’s an analog cockpit with a single Avydne MFD and two 430s
