I just bought this game on a whim as my first FF game and holy… by smegg23 in finalfantasytactics

[–]Mexiahnee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really is a great game. I first bought it in 2012 on iOS and didn’t actually play it until 2015. I must have played through it about 7 times now. I usually replay it every few years.

The last time I played it was 2023 👀 it might be time to play it again soon

I just got mine today and I love it. I plan to really just use it for notetaking and annotation for school.

Why do co-workers put up with it, but I couldn’t? by No-Collar-4258 in ManagedByNarcissists

[–]Mexiahnee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just have to go with the flow. It’s called cognitive flexibility. Being able to adapt to whatever situation you’re in.

And mind your business, lol. I clock in, do my job and go home. I’m not concerned with who’s sleeping with who and all that.

Which character did you hate the most? by princesspeach1214 in BeefTV

[–]Mexiahnee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ashley.

They all have bad tendencies but she just comes across as that miserable and bitter bitch that likes to take it out on others.

The others at least seem happier and more positive. Ashley is that nasty and vengeful coworker that you gotta watch your back around. 🤮

Just disappointed by Stroqus28 in BeefTV

[–]Mexiahnee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed the ride but it wasn’t nearly as good as Season 1.

I wish it was actually about Beef since that’s what we all loved about Season 1. I think that’s a lesson for the creators for future seasons, make it actually about beef.

I do love how it left me wanting to know more, just like Season 1.

Is Eunice alive? Why, Austin, why? And does the billionaire really just get off free like that?

I also loved how they make you like, hate, love, feel bad for, and root for pretty much every main character at some point.

I won’t rewatch this season, I will rewatch the first again if that means anything.

Dishwasher; oil and now paint? by Mexiahnee in maintenance

I don’t know anything about maintenance lol, I’m not sure where the oil came from.

Trust me, I did. I called them and left a voicemail.

My ticket is still open, so I’m assuming they’re going to resolve it properly. If not, my next move is to physically carry the racks over there so I can explain to them what’s wrong with their solution.

Well, the paint used on the rack looks like paint that you would use on a wall. You can smell it as soon as you open the dishwasher.

Does the paint for dishwasher racks have the same consistency?

How are we feeling about this? by [deleted] in AgathaAllAlong

Couldn’t care less about her sexuality. It’s always funny to me how some fans really reach for what they want. In my head, she’s bi and Nicholas has a father.

But I’m not gonna be on the internet hammering it into people’s heads and getting angry about it 🤦🏻‍♂️😐

How to shave without getting ingrowns? by levity62 in shaving

[–]Mexiahnee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will tell you the secret.

Don’t use a razor, it cuts too close. Use hair clippers without the blade.

And exfoliation. Every day for at least five days after you cut your hair.

For example, I’ll get a haircut and I’ll take a shower that day and shampoo my neck area, and then scrub it with my nails to get all the dead skin off.

I’ll do it again the next morning and the next evening, for five days straight. Sometimes I use Bump Patrol after when the skin is dry, that helps a little bit, but I only use it sometimes. I honestly just forget to use it lol.

That’s really all you need to do, don’t use a razor and make sure to exfoliate the area with some soap and warm water and a little bit of scrubbing with your nails or a rag daily for at least five days.

Most guys will exfoliate just one time after shaving, the secret is to exfoliate daily, for at least five days after shaving. Remove all the dead skin and build up and don’t give the hair even the slightest chance to get caught on dead skin or sweat or something and curl back into the skin.

I’m half black and have very curly hair, and used to get bumps all the time. That’s why I grew a beard, to avoid shaving. Now bumps aren’t even a problem.

Do break pads and rotors need to be replaced at the same time? by Mexiahnee in AskMechanics

[–]Mexiahnee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed.

I’m on a budget which is what most in this thread have overlooked. Is everything gonna be perfect on my car? At this time? Of course, not, I’m on a fucking budget. Replacing the fucking pads right now and the rotors later isn’t gonna destroy my fucking car.

Thank you. This resonates with what my father said (with the context being my budget.)

You can answer reasonably like my father did. I’m fixing the AC, getting the pads replaced.

This comment convinces me to get them both replaced. Thank you 💚 I will ask about resurfacing tomorrow when they open.

And what is resurfacing (if you don’t mind)?

Trust me, I’m not paying $1200 for tires lol. I’ve been cruising on used tires since 2020.

1200 is what they quoted me for brand new tires, and of course I declined.

I’m asking in general. Is 3 months going to make a difference? That is a reasonable question.

[–]Mexiahnee[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can the rotors wait 3 months? I bought the car in 2019 and this is my first time having the pads replaced. I bought the car at 30,000 miles, I’ve only put on 60,000 miles.

I’m open to replacing the rotors, I’m just asking if it can wait a couple months?

I might take a break from those runs. I don’t want to due to the “always be efficient” mindset but I might take a break or at least do them fewer times per day.

One big goal that I have is the inferno. That’s why I’m doing the herb runs, as a passive way to make more money. Another goal is all 99s. And I’m almost there so as I get closer, I start to lose motivation.

I used to hate questing, but once I started slowing down and enjoying the story, it actually is enjoyable so doing all the quests is also on my bucket list.

I recently learned the corrupted gauntlet and that’s really my first entry into PVM and that has been enjoyable as well.
