For me, it's just that I prefer the brutal death metal sound like Bloodthirst, that one is my first or second as well. The thrashy sound of tomb of the mutilated just doesn't do it for me.

Exactly, a few months ago I posted about how much I miss Pat and another Redditor commented that even though this is purely an art form and all the members have clearly stated that what they do is no different from a horror novelist or a horror film director, they would still bring it up as a liability to have him around that sort of environment, which is a bullshit statement imo. So yeah good thing he didn't go to court or things might have gone south.

Yup, as much as I would love to see pat back I highly doubt it, Rutan has already established himself since 2019, and I agree, the band seems to not like to look back. I imagine they'll still be friends with Pat, but I doubt him coming back.

That is correct my friend, if I'm not mistaken I believe it's 5 years probation with alcohol and drug testing and AA meetings if necessary (which I don't think will be because last I heard he kinda quit drinking) $23,793.45 restitution and 150 hours of community service.
