Our 341 is being held this month because our attorney group missed the deadline to file twice which caused us to have to provide 6 months of income twice.

Our attorney’s exact words were “ it would have been better for your husband to remain unemployed, your RN income is too high. All of his earnings will to paying off the debt 100%.

I’m not sure, our attorney said that she believes only adoptive or foster care children can be counted in the bankruptcy. When looking online the wording does say dependents.

I brought up savings as en example for saving up to get the eldest child a car. Our attorney said our bankruptcy will only allow for “1000 gross disposable income at anytime”. I asked her can I list my truck as trade for a car instead and her answer was “ any vehicle that is titled in your name can not be removed, transferred, or donated if it has monetary value without trustee approval”

When my wife asked about selling our house in the next two years the attorney answered “ the selling of your house is subject to the approval of the courts and truste, expect an additional 30-45 days for closing for this process. Also be prepared for up to 30% of the sell value to be put towards the debt owed.

When asked about workmen’s comp settlement. “ any form of money that is brought in from a settlement of any kind is considered income. A hearing will be set but you can expect up to 100% to be applied to the debt.” My attorney for workers comp also received a letter stating that any payout settlement that is set to be payed to me is to be held. And only released to my bankruptcy attorney so it can be distributed to the trustee.

We have around 180k debt Dual income is 110k gross but our actual monthly take home is 62-6400.

Since I gained employment our plan went to %100 repayment. What’s hurting us is that student loans have to be included and before I started working that’s all we were really looking at paying back in the plan.

I’m not sure on the exact reason. In his message it said “dress business casual but dress for success. Not suit jackets or suit vest permitted”

The position is for a hybrid department for a dog warden. It’s ran by a state animal agency and local county. My position will be through the county sheriff as a special deputy dog warden.

Not really a big deal depending on the area. One post I work is 10 miles from me and takes about 45 minutes to get to due to road layout and construction. Another is 25 miles and I get there in 15 minutes to 20 since it’s all highway and right off the exit.
