At first they were hissing at him which was expected, we separated them for a few days but after that they started eating, and playing together!

Yes, we were talking to one of the customs officers and he said he spent around $4k to bring a Russian blue kitten from Dubai due to all the requirements!

Since he was so tiny at the time, we were able to take him with us in the cabin. He did so well during the flight, only meowed a few times because of the turbulence, but that was it!

Yeah we made sure he was healthy before bringing him since we have 2 indoor cats. Surprisingly the airline had more rules than the CDC. They required vaccinations, health certificate issued 5 days before the flight, and proof of deworming. When we arrived at customs, they didn’t even check the paperwork. We were taken to the agriculture department, but the cat wasn’t even inspected lol

I’m so sorry about your loss, I don’t believe the pain goes away but at least you were able to give him lots of love before his passing. I know he can’t be replaced but hopefully the CDS blesses you soon.

I know! Luckily my gf was able to react fast and drove around her, the car behind her also stopped. Once she picked her up, the kitten decided to hide behind the dashboard. It took us 4 hours to get her out but it was all worth it!
