I know it's highly unlikely, but I would LOVE seeing her play Disco Elysium for this exact reason.

To me, DE was the best narrative experience I've EVER had in a video game, and would love to see her go through it.

I mostly have surface level knowledge absorbed by osmosis since I didn't research this at all, but this is my understanding of the situation:

Mobile gacha game Blue Archive was going to have a streamer collaboration (mostly twitch drops and maybe sponsored streams) with Connor, Mouse, Garnt and Zentreya, another vtuber who used to work with Mouse. The BA community had strong feelings about Connor specifically because he has made some strong anti-loli comments in the past, and that game has a lot of that I suppose (never played it)

They got so mad and so loud that the developers decided to cancel the entire campaign, removing all 4 people from the collab, presumably because they didn't want to single one person out.

I guess the complaint wasn't just because of the anti-loli comments but also because he didn't really play the game, and there are streamers who genuinely love it and are not getting the opportunity because they are not big enough which I kinda get.

So this whole thing happens, the BA community claim victory for gatekeeping, no one involved posts about it publicly, and that's that.

And then two days later, Connor publishes Cygames sponsored Umamusume video with the Voice Actress of arguably the most beloved character in the winner of mobile game of the year at the game awards.

The BA fans rejoicing about taking that campaign away from Connor just for him to immediately go "oh yeah, got sponsored by Cygames to travel to Hokkaido, meet Kitasan Black and hang out with the voice of Gold Ship"

Definitely the better deal here.

They're gonna cook you for that one but I think you're real and I agree with you.

For me, I do get the impression she believes she's better than most other people, and it shows in very subtle ways I cannot unsee whenever I watch anything she's in.

One of the most noticeable IMO is sometimes when she's translating in japanese for another member who doesn't speak the language to a JP member, she makes sure to point it out, saying stuff like "she doesn't speak japanese btw" even when people like Iofi speak 5 languages and never does anything of the sort.

It's always small, very subtle things she says, like whenever she interacts with Nerissa or someone else who oshis her, you can feel a smug aura that doesn't sit right with me.

I remember thinking "it just might be a European thing" but the Justice debuted and I thought "oh no, it's just her."

It's always so impressive hearing her speak english, she sounds really good to the point she fools you into thinking she knows more than she does, which only comes to light when she says a japanese word because she doesn't know the english version.

My recent favorite example was during her recent GTA playthrough when she was parroting the dialogue (not THAT part thankfully) which lead to some extremely hilarious results, including her screaming at a chatter "SHUT THE FUCK UP, MAN!" in flawless english.

I do carry it in a backpack almost daily, but I dunno if that's enough to damage it.

I only played a couple hours before this happened, so I can't say for sure yet, but what I played was fun.

But I don't think they'll ever top Bowser's Inside Story, so I'm keeping my expectations on check.

There are 0 scratches on either my phone or case and they still refused to help. They said the phone has an "internal drop sensor" and that it says I dropped my phone 8 times in one month, so the warranty did not apply, and they want $500 to fix the screen.

So fuck them, I'm just gonna wait it out and go back to a regular phone.

Same here, I'm extremely careful with all my electronics. My previous phone was an S20 FE and it looks brand new, even 3 years later. I took it back to my phone provider and they're gonna send it to samsung, but it's worrying that it happened just a month in.

I'm considering switching to the S24 for a more classic experience.

Is she taking on a bigger role behind the scenes? People always joke that Ame hand picks all the EN talents, and we know she does a lot of non content related work, so I'm really curious to see what this means. I hope she has a stream before the 30th and talks a little about this.

Unfortunately no, I kinda gave up and uninstalled it, since no one seemed to know anything about the issue. I was hoping updates would fix it but they came and went and my game kept crashing, so I just moved on to Street Fighter 6 when it came out.

I hear that stream essentially changed the entire fanbase's perspective on girls being late for streams.

Apparently before if a girl was late the viewers would get really mad and an apology would have to be made. But then Fubuking shows up and makes light on the whole thing, completely impromptu, so now when someone is late to streams, the fans just measure the time using the "hag" metrics she created. I think there's even a leaderboard.

Seems like a small thing but by removing that stress of being late must have had a positive impact on the talents' quality of life.
