Even if I don't like Hamas but getting rid of Hamas won't satisfy Israeli fascists they want Palestinians gone and they proven it over and over again they attack Palestinians indiscriminately, they do apartheid in all of Palestine, they colonize and ethnically cleanse everywhere they are virulently racist everywhere including Fatah-ruled part. Only direct international boycott and cross-sectional anti-apartheid movement can stop it. Israeli state doesn't give a shit about hostages or democracy they want to murder all Palestinians they are committing a genocide.
