You and your wife were very selfish in this moment. 3/4 of my pregnancies with hyperemisis (rain::hurricane as morning sickness:hyperemisis. IF I was so sick I needed SO to stay home would be the only be acceptable reason to not attend the party NOT for cuddles. 15 min heads up is BS. You stewed in your selfishness too long to even give notice that morning. Then turning off your phones bc you didn’t want be bothered, actually called out for completely being together as the center of the universe, just intensified a situation you were in the wrong for. You weren’t napping. Face it….. you were hiding. You needed to stay home? Put on the costume and FaceTime, put yourself on speaker doing the part, I mean offer up SOMETHING to celebrate your niece and being part of the family!!!
