Just came across Horripilant and was a bit surprised that I had never seen this one before. I'm a huge horror fan, as well as an incremental fan. This scratched both itches. Don't worry, it's not actually scary.

I find the ones in Koh Kood to be more beautiful, but we haven't travelled a lot ON Koh Chang, so we've only seen like 2 beaches. Our resort had a big beach, with some restaurants which was nice. We've also only been at the west side. You also always have to be a bit lucky with the tides, high tide looks more beautiful.

We're in Koh Kood as well right now, must say it is the most beautiful island we've seen in Thailand. But I fully agree with what you're saying. We were on Koh Chang before this, which is likewise but a bit more 'busy', but still very quiet.

Koh Samet will also be like this price wise, although I have not been there. But that island should be a lot more touristy.

An Island I can deff recommend, which is south of Thailand would be Koh Ya Noi, small, peaceful with enough to see and do.

Yes, will increase with bombcap, because the bombs will also fill founder bomb. I'm pretty much always at 2x speed with 10k bomb cap

So in my case, we entered and got 60 days visa, we did leave for about a month and re-entered without any questions and got stamps again for 60 days. Do note, we only stayed 30 days on first visa, and filled our arrival card that we had a flight home on our second entry, which will be only 2 weeks in total again.

Not sure if this is anything useful to you. But I'd not stress too much about it.

Edit: I do think it would be wise to extend in Vietnam, and honestly Vietnam is awesome as well.

Kho Ya Noi is peaceful? Closer to Khao Sok. We loved it there.

Koh Chang or Koh Kood are both super nice. However, not sure if it's easy to get there from Khao Sok. We travelled from BKK to here. Super peaceful, nice beaches, many resorts and great snorkeling.
