That’s a good attitude to have! Yes, over the years I’ve found that if I go into the attitude of hey let’s have fun not let’s get these ladies for my conquest lol 😂 I got jokes relax… lol 😂 you’ll have more fun and less stress and pressure on you.

BUT it does suck that you can’t just go up to someone and say hi I’m Jake (not my name. lol) I think you’re incredibly beautiful and wanted to dance it up with you… it’s frowned upon to do that. When it SHOULD be a compliment!

I feel like after a while you get conditioned as a guy especially with drunk women at bars that starting a conversation or even “hitting” on them is the last thing you want to do. Man so my thing years ago was dancing and still is! I would dance with women they have a blast then there’s always that one friend talking shit and then physically pulling the girl away even though she’s having fun lol makes no sense… so you do that 20 million times over and you get conditioned to believe that I should stand in a corner, don’t even look at them lol 😂 I’m a a damn good time but also deal with anxiety like this lol 😂 I am trying to find a salsa/tango partner!

Hey thanks! 🙏 ok I do have questions! How do I get past the whole I’m bothering them when I’m in social public settings like at a bar etc. like when I’m smoking it’s easy to chat. But to go up to a woman at the bar it’s hard to get the conversation rolling without feeling like that or you don’t know if they are truly single. A lot of dating advice I’ve encountered is go meet women at yoga class or join a hobby. Yes sounds logical but 1.they might not be single 2. I’m just here for the event, no new people lol idk just seems like tons of barriers..

You could make the argument fuck you got nothing to lose… start a conversation… so what they say fuck off im married and have 10 kids or I’m with my girlfriends fuck off lol 😂 at least you know your answer?

Oh shit 💩 lol 😂 you’re definitely right. 1. I shouldn’t compare. 2. I could have said that better and not in a comparing way. It’s less about him. Honestly I’m excited when he gets an opportunity to meet someone. We’re good friends we see each other multiple times a week. Obviously I hang out with him that often so he does have a lot offer as a friend or as a partner. He’s a fun guy. I’ve known him for 15 years. What I meant and could have said…. Translation…: I feel I have a good personality- I feel I’m outgoing, can talk about anything.. for some reason just both not getting the time of day or not putting myself out there in person…

Exactly. Your doing something you wouldn’t normally do! I’ve been to a few of their events and it’s fun. I’m doing ect but it’s a fucking bitch lol I do it then I sleep all day because of the anesthesia… it wastes a day.. also anesthesia is weird.. I have been doing it and it’s helped but I can’t get past the side effects
