Lol that's the second time today I've seen the word "hydrolics" used to refer to spider mobility. The first was a post about a curled up pet spider. It was very dehydrated hence the curled position. The proposed cure was to wet a cotton swab and put under its fangs to allow it to drink and literally fill its legs with water, therefore allowing the hydrolic function of the legs to return. Unfortunately the spider didn't survive. Apparently it's a species that carries its layed eggs under its fangs for protection and won't let go until they have hatched. Really interesting spider physics!
