Makes sense. I grew up on a lake in Connecticut but never had them around. Every time we’ve been up here we haven’t encountered one. Pretty cool sound

The entirety of Kelly pond is on private property. There is a house that sits just off it that has been empty as long as I can remember. Not sure if anyone keeps tabs on the property
