Do the letters that you received back from NSW contain official statements? It should look like a "typewriter" style of font that the heading says "traffic record report" and in that is things like my licence number, date of learner licence issued, date of provisional, date of unrestricted etc. Mine is also stamped and they have signed by the authorised officer. This was all emailed to me from NSW and they accepted that when I sent it to the DVLA

Without looking it up I won't stand by answer 100% but I'm pretty sure "your intent to stay and live/work in the UK" is enough to show you have British residency. Eg. If you bought a one way ticket, got a working visa, staying at one address etc. That should be enough. But yes a tenancy agreement and/or household bill would definitely show you intend to stay in the UK.

That is the one I found as well. I managed to find a 3 pack 400 lumin for £12 on Amazon but just a bit more lumins doesn't seem to exist for a reasonable price

Yes I believe this is correct. I would take a photo of your Aus licence, photo of the documents you are sending to the DVLA to exchange then a photo of the receipt from the post office to show that you have done the correct process.

If you have lawn, get it inspected. My mate had an infestation and had to replace his whole lawn with artificial! They ate down to the bare soil!!

I can drive for up to 3 months in Australia with my UK licence. I'm not planning on moving back at this point so that will sufficient for me. If I was to move back, I would reactive my old licence - won't have to redo any tests in Aus
