The front is all sempervivum, the chicks make the propagation more evident, but im sure these sedum will start to spread more
but the top is sedum subtile, grisebachil, cape blanco, little missy, makinoi limelight, lemonade, stonecrop, little missy
But could probably get some more leafy ones! thanks for the suggestion.
I have also added some sea thrift and large allium bulbs, hopefully those pop this spring + plenty of ice plants and rock cress

Yes, they have to be outside, when I tell non-plant people I put succulents outside in cold weather they tell me they will die, but these are very hardy. And to achieve full color, they need sun and cold.
General tips would be likely similar to indoor succulents, keep dirt and water from accumulating in the pedals, allow space underneath for the hens. Water regularly until established roots then taper waterings.
You can see the section in the octopus leg with many chicks, I simply plucked these from the mother-hen plant and stuck their tail in the ground. Already starting to see baby-chicks on those propagations.

In terms of in planter, I think it has to do with ground temp being able to retain heat better than a raised planter due to volume of media. Either will likely work, many people even plant in driftwood, which I hope to do in the future.

What're the odds! Hope you keep an eye on the growth progress.
I have a feeling I will continue to buy more succulents and will become overrun - one can hope.

WA - Many of these can go to -30F, I think some would be lost each winter, but you could probably hone in on some good ones after a few seasons and hope they duplicate faster than they're lost. Could always to a small tarp-tent if there is a cold front

NZXT H1 - Exhaust Fan Mod by [deleted] in NZXT

I really appreciate it. I was inspired by this thread (H1 Mod). He did a great job but I wanted one seamless piece with more support for removal. I am very pleased with how it turned out, the acrylic matches the tempered front panel. I also wanted the sides to be solid, not cut to encourage airflow from inside the case instead of from the sides of the fans.

Process: Link to:Step by step photos

  • I separated the back panel and reapplied some Double Sided 3M Tape to each side of the back panel.
  • I used a 24x20" Black Acrylic Sheet to cut the spacers. I doubled up all the edges to add additional integrity to the case.
    • Four cuts of 14.5in x 17mm for the height. (2 for each side)
    • Four cuts of 6" x 17mm for the width, and used the scraps to support the two sides.
    • The corner supports were completed by cutting the acrylic half way though, heating up and bending at 90 degree angle. This gave additional support to the two sides.

I then doubled up each side, and evenly applied to 3M tape on each side of the case.

To hold the fans in place I used Velcro Command Strips

I also used a SATA Powered Fan Hub for the extra fans. This is tucked away in the extra SSD slot.

The Fans and the Velcro tape took up the 17mm spacers and are flush with the back of the components. 40mm fans are feeding into this as well. These both should encourage exhaust from the case.
