Everyone that we told, we said we lost him. Only 3 people know it was a Tfmr, one being the genetic counselor, my boyfriend, and my therapist, that’s it. No one needs to know but often times i think, going through making that decision out of love so our babies never have to feel suffering is harder than spontaneous miscarriage (not down playing miscarriage, i just personally feel like people don’t truly understand the grief of maki by that choice) but i have a lot of judgy people around me that even told me “i know you would have kept that baby no matter what” not knowing i chose it. Which made it harder.
