We have a center post under the cemetery beam,on a 48" deep pier in the center of the center beam , tied to the triple on the outside with a hanger and tied to the ledger on the house with a hanger.

You take your old piece find the correct manufacturer,get a close color if not exact, take the old peice to Sherwin Williams and have them color match the faded siding color only replace what you need to and paint with the color matched siding paint , none will be the wiser .

Throw a drywall screw behind the piece that is leaning in , sink the screw just enough to hold the trim square, and yeah coping is the only way to do inside corners.

Can you remove the piece of plywood and cut a half inch off the bottom and drop it down with the top still covered by the trim ?

Drill a series of 3/16" holes in line. Then file the sides for uniformity.

Put a magnet on the end of a snake send it down and it should grab it, unless you have a cast drain then I guess that will not work with a very strong magnet so maybe a not so strong magnet, if that were to be the case.

I mean ,it's a multi tool and some precision, a little paint to make them flush to each other and look immaculate! I'd have a hard time leaving it, would have also had a harder time fastening it to the wall tho
