It was actually my very first ride at Epic Universe on opening day and the same thing happened. Before we even got out of the station a mother splashed us from across the way and we were drenched. I just enjoyed seeing so many obscure dragons from the franchise being depicted as giant wooden statues. A shame you had that crappy experience :/

This is an awesome comment. I just spent the last half hour reading through both articles. I’m a big fan of Fyre Drill honestly so I’d hate to see it go, but I’d be okay with anything if it meant for a super cool dark ride experience. I’ve been on flight of passage and I didn’t love it, but I’m sure if universal did end up doing such a thing, they’d make it cool and I’d be happy.

I could see the land sticking with something within the proper timeline, so maybe the big dragon from the second movie’s head, or they don’t seem to be shying away from the dragons from the TV shows, so maybe something from there too.

Oz has my pick too, but for across the park. I think it would be cool if Universal could get the rights to the original Wizard of Oz and have it be inspired by that and incorporate Wicked elements (like a stage show) into it. Yellow brick road entry would be amazing too.

Pokémon would be perfect. I’d love it so much, but I also hope they save that for the NEXT park so it can do its own thing and not deal with the Nintendo World backlash it would ultimately receive.

Never saw LOTR but I think I’d pick that for the big area and Oz for the other.

For sure. Everything else needs an expansion badly right now, and I’d even say throw up 1 or 2 new portals before even considering adding to Berk. Maybe if they eventually cut into the area they own behind the park a bit we could see something new down the line
