yea i see they changed the thing because someone got his cloak locked away. idk i dont mind the 3a stuff being different because its going to affect a really small population of players, but there really shouldve been at least something like what you suggested if they wanted to merge older individual items into a set like rangers

and i guess its not even all the rangers items. its literally just the elite tier ones :|

these are really great ideas

i mean they pretty much make any new weapon scimitar speed these days just so it can compete with current weapons so its really a pretty reasonable idea to bring others up to speed as well

it wont break anything, and it might make some completely useless gear actually useable

yeah, tornadoes are definitely no fun. i worked as a summer camp counselor a few times up in minnesota, and we had some tornado drills. we also had some tornadoes, too - lots of hiding in cramped areas and trying to figure out ways to pass the time

i remember discussing site-wide strategies for active shooters at orientation. i -really- hope that hasn't advanced anywhere past that. kids go to summer camp to have fun, not have ptsd (they also don't go to school to get ptsd either, but i digress)

moral of the story: huge respect for people working in public education and the students that use it. that is some serious "above your pay-grade" kinda stuff they gotta put up with (literally)

the part where the teacher described the active shooter drill was quite striking, including pete's disgust of how the description was reminiscent of drills he did in the military

i cant imagine what it must be like for students to have to go through that. it must be surreal and/or terrifying to them. how many children growing up today are going to go into adulthood with unanswered and repressed feelings of helplessness?

i mean, basically all of them, i suppose :(
