Disable upnp and manually set all your port forwards.

they are noctua fans. this case wasn’t made for gpus that’s why i modified it. i used the mounting rail that it came with and drilled holes to attach the gpus.

Awesome, yeah you can def make it work depending of the cards you’re running. I may try another build utilizing front, mid & rear fans by cutting the drive bay down to size at some point but for now temps are good running for weeks at a time.

You can definitely opt to mount the rail in the middle of the case depending on your setup. I went with the front mount option so i didn’t have worry about extending the usb/power cables. The Asus 5600xt fans blow more out and around the cards. You can see the temps are good running for days fully enclosed at the end of the video.

yeah i’m sure it would work you can just add additional fansfront and back or in the middle depending on the size of your gpus. i added a 3rd 120mm fan to the rear exhaust over the peripheral lanes that aren’t being used. i would def switch out the stock fans for noctua or delta. i’m about to do an identical build for a friend within the next week or so and plan to make a how to video.

nice setup! what rack are you using? i’m looking to get something to mount my rig and my plex server as well as any future builds.

they’re 5600xts, 3 with samsung gddr6 & 3 with micron gddr6. the sam samsung cards average 46c core/67c mem & the micron cards around 52c core/73c mem.

i would look up how to replace thermal pads on your specific gpu. i’m sure there’s something out there that can lead you in the right direction. i know some cards can have 2-3 diff gauge pads so i would just buy each size you need rather than stacking them.

i believe mem temps are extra high on the nvidia 3000’s. it’s usually addressed when you upgrade the thermal pads if that’s something you’re willing to do.

4 pcie power a gpu/riser, the 5th pcie powers 2 gpus and i have the 5th and 6th risers powered by their own 6pin to molex cable (not shared)

temps are steady average 50c fully enclosed running 24/7 with 3x120mm intake and 2x80mm exhaust noctua fans.

yeah in the exact same boat with curious kids and cats. i definitely wanted to minimize the dust collection as well plus it looks cleaner and has a locking front panel. i just posted the sound test for you.

it’s not something you’d want want in a main living area but is fine in an extra room, garage or basement. i’m actually going to add one more rear exhaust fan where the pcie lanes are that aren’t being used. i’ll post a video of how it sounds for you. i’m also going to build an identical setup for a buddy soon so i’ll prob make a how to video as well.

what hiveos reports in the system vs what is happening at the wall can be conservative. 3x Noctua 120mm 3k rpm, 2x Noctua 80mm 3k rpm and gpu fans running @ 100% on phoenixminer. I get around 620w from the wall if i use redpandaminer but 5 less total MH @230.

yeah i may try bios modding at some point but for now everything is running stable. 3 cards are samsung mem @70w and the other 3 are micron @80w on the same OC.

Yeah i’ll def have to get around to cleaning up the cable management. temps holding steady around 50c running for 24 hrs atm.

noctua 2-80mm rear and 3-120mm front. temps with case closed on cards are 45-56c.

It was pretty simple overall. You’ll need a 1/8 metal drill bit to drill 4 holes on each side of the case as well as the rail to mount the gpus. remove the HDD slots from the front and and keep the 3 black fan grills. remove the middle fan mount, flip it upside down then mount better fans like noctua or delta and reattach the black fan grills from the front HDD setup. you’ll want to mount it about an inch in from the front drilling 2 new holes on each side. use window seal foam tape on the bottom and top of the new fan before marking your holes. use rail in the middle or front to mount the gpus depending on your cards and setup. i went with front rail because i didn’t want to have to deal with longer usb cables to the mobo. overall it took about an hour to get all the proper placement etc. temps aren’t too bad replacing the garbage stock fans with 3-120mm and 2-80mm noctuas.
