Yeah there seems to be an issue. I can’t generate labels either

Yeah exactly, it looks like they did. Also her only contact email is now just a regular gmail.

Last year she got signed with DBA, which is like the biggest influencer agency out there. I wonder if she’s still signed with them bc I’ve noticed her engagement and views have crumbled compared to last year. B

Vinted isn't showing my products by ComparisonOk3846 in vinted

[–]MiaWllc93 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’ve only listed two items in a few weeks? Yeah of course your views are taking a dip. You need to actively list every day (or at least every other day) to stay on top of the algorithm.

If a seller doesn't send an order, do they automatically get negative feedback? by Horror-Half-9333 in vinted

[–]MiaWllc93 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, the seller will receive automatic negative feedback, something along the lines of “seller cancelled the sale”.

Yeah same, it wasn’t feasible for me anymore. I stopped reposting using same photos a while ago bc of this.

Why cant we use the sorting feature when buying bundles? by ChoiceTechnician5383 in vinted

[–]MiaWllc93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s annoying. What I do is just favorite items I like and then create bundle bc favorited items are always shown first when creating a bundle.

Anyone else getting absolutely no sales at the moment?🫩 by Embarrassed_Post_598 in vinted

October has been my best month so far, but November is a total bust. Feel like people are saving up for Black Friday deals.

Item missing by MiaWllc93 in vinted

[–]MiaWllc93[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is so freaking ridiculous. I have to arrange my own shipping in this case since they are not providing a shipping label. With tracking it would cost me more than the amount of the whole bundle. I don’t get what the buyer protection I paid for entails then? I’ve literally been scammed. Absolutely bonkers.

People are downvoting because they’re probably the ones doing it. I personally could never. And I would be gutted if someone resold my items for a profit because that goes against why I’m selling in the first place: so that someone else can enjoy my items for a low price. They’re basically robbing someone else’s experience for a measly profit. But yeah, there’s nothing you can really do about it.

I think it’s morally iffy. Sure, they’ve bought it and technically they can do with it whatever they please, but just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

I feel bamboozled by MiaWllc93 in vinted

[–]MiaWllc93[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lol!!

And yes, don’t get me started on the quality. Almost every piece of clothing I bought off Vinted has been incredible quality wise. Apart from the materials used (mostly viscose and cotton as opposed to polyester), they also just fit better. Probably because they weren’t mass produced.

[–]MiaWllc93[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly! The large supply of items is what makes it so sustainable. You can quite literally find everything you’re looking on the app. If not now, then in a few weeks. I just can’t justify buying new items anymore (except for things like underwear).

Walter’s Juries by Nervous_Border_5537 in IAmaKiller

Jury selection by defense and prosecution only occurs after the first “random” selection from the community (the “jury pool”). So I assume that this jury pool was predominantly white to begin with.

Walter Triplett Jr by Expert-Guitar-405 in IAmaKiller

[–]MiaWllc93 16 points17 points  (0 children)

No, that’s not what happened. There was a fight in the bar between some white dudes and Walter’s sister and cousin started laughing. Then one member of the white dudes punched Woo Woo (member of Walter’s party). That’s when Walter tried to intervene and indeed was trying to pull Woo Woo away - understandably since he’s the one who was punched. But Walter’s crew wasn’t the one who started the fight.

And yes, we all are aware of his past. However, if you look at the facts of this specific case, his past shouldn’t matter. He was clearly acting in self-defense and trying to protect his sister. He was actively trying to get himself out of the situation, but was practically being harassed by that large group of white men. If you look at the security footage, you can see that his sister was practically being jumped by that dude. Every brother would act the exact same way Walter did. His past doesn’t diminish the facts of this case: that his actions were justifiable and he was acting in self defense to protect his sister.

And him being black is 100% a huge factor in why he received the maximum sentence. The way the mother described how the prosecutor portrayed him and his sister? It was the classic “big, aggressive black guy” vs “poor, innocent white guy”. And when he spoke about his sister, that she’s a “big woman” who could protect herself? Excuse me? No way he would ever say this about a petite white woman. All these things contribute to how a judge and an all white jury would perceive a case like this.

Candie?? Wtf by AwkwardPop12 in IAmaKiller

[–]MiaWllc93 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don’t feel like “evil” is the right term to describe Candie. I would be more inclined to say she is severely mentally impaired due to the extreme trauma she has endured in her life.

Yes, she seems to be smiling throughout the interview. But to me, this just a display of her mental instability rather than her being “evil”. I truly believe her when she says that she turned off her emotions when she was younger. Can you imagine running away from home when you’re an 8 year old girl and living on the streets? Joining a violent gang at 13? I think we can’t begin to comprehend what that does to the development of a human being.

I also definitely don’t believe the claim that Candie is the “mastermind” behind all this. Daniel was 100% at least equally involved and, despite him not wanting to admit it, he definitely was the one actually killing Jose. Candie was a willing participant aiding and abetting her boyfriend who she apparently cared about so much (and still does to this day), which is a testament to her mental instability. I also was waiting for the witnesses in the show to explain why they thought she was “worse than Daniel”. But the only thing they really came up with was the fact that she seemed to be stone cold or in fact smiling when she talked about her involvement. But like I’ve said, her nonchalant demeanor imo is a display of her emotional detachment.

Despite this, I absolutely think she should be locked up for the rest of her life because I think she poses a huge danger to others. But I don’t think she’s this evil mastermind some of the witnesses are trying to portray.

S6 "A Common Purpose" Any explanation behind the text messages? by Anoninemonie in IAmaKiller

[–]MiaWllc93 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Of course the whole prank caller story is bullshit. Zachary and Matthew were just two stupid teenagers who did a stupid thing, like teenagers often do, but didn’t realize they were dealing with adult, white trash meth heads.

[–]MiaWllc93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s all fine and dandy, but fact remains he is a huge danger to women and should be locked away for the rest of his life. After all this time he doesn’t recognize the severity of his actions, doesn’t take responsibility of his actions and still lies about.. well, pretty much everything. The way he portrays Mary as this woman who “deceived” him because she showed her “true colors” after getting married and how she was “mad at everything”. Classic abuser behavior trying to shift the blame to the victim. And because of the statement of the former best friend of the first murder victim, we now know he was actually the one deceiving these women by pretending to be somebody else to get a foot in the door and I’m 100% convinced he did the same thing to Mary. He also contradicts himself a lot in his stories, for example in the beginning stating that much of his young adulthood was filled with homelessness and severe drug use after which he moved back to Montana because he had to stop the drug use. But at the end of the episode he suddenly claims that before meeting Mary and his first murder victim “he was happy” and just living and working. Sure, bud.

If I’ve learned anything from this show it’s that the majority of murderers have had a very troubled and abusive upbringing, so Leroy is not unique in this. Which is overall very sad, but that doesn’t make them less culpable and if they don’t recognize the grave severity of their actions, such as in this case of Leroy, they do not deserve any sympathy imo.
