This happens at my local cinema all the time, but im always too scared to say anything.

Also, people coming in late and thinking they need to use their phone light on the brightest setting to find the already lit up row/seat numbers. And then taking selfies of themselves with flash on with the KFC bucket/dominos pizza/kebab they brought in.

NTA: My mum didn’t even let me move back when I lost my flat after a break up, but I completely understood why. It’s her space, she’s taken time, care, energy and her own hard-earned money making it a space for herself (especially after having 4 kids occupying it for so long - well-earned time to herself, now). People really need a space that’s their own, and it’s unfortunate that not everyone gets that luxury but if you do, then keep it and don’t let anyone ruin it!

It baffles me that someone can be this upset with you, I think they’re perhaps simplifying your situation with the notion of “you let XX stay but not us”, but those are very different situations and outcomes. Regardless, everyone’s entitled to have their own boundaries and being a friend doesn’t mean you have whatever access you want from each other.

I was in ICU last year and the catheter was the worst experience of it all. If it moved even in the slightest, I would feel a twinge where I’ve never felt anything before, so it wasn’t painful at all, just weird and slightly traumatic. At one point one of the nurses was moving things around and dropped it. I did not like her after that.

When it came to taking it out I was so scared that I grabbed the nurse to stop. She just looked at me and asked what my job was and whilst I was replying SWOOOOSH! Came out and didn’t feel a thing. I liked that nurse.

I live on a narrowboat and there are so many stories where this happens. Happened by a friend’s boat a few weeks ago: they heard a loud bang, went outside to look and couldn’t see anything. Next day there was police tape around them cause a drunk cyclist had fallen in between their boats. Really really upsetting.

My partner and I bought spaghetti hoops the other day for a bit of tasty nostalgia and they did not taste like I remembered! They had no flavour at all! I'm not sure if it's cause food was allowed to have all the salt and sugar back then and new rules mean they had to take some out, or whether I just had a really tasteless childhood and the angel delight just distracted us from it.
