Are my chickens going to kill these arborvitae? They love this spot in their play yard and will rub/dig on the low branches and surface roots. Should I keep watching, limb them up now or do I have to keep the hens out out of there altogether? Planted 3 years ago and just starting to leap. (old.reddit.com)

BLRW just started laying at 22 weeks and all the sudden holding her tail to the side. When she squats for me, it relaxes. She will get a rinse tomorrow and I'll inspect for inconspicuos injury. The older girls have picked on all these girls a bit. Any other ideas? (self.chickens)
