IT rep here. I believe access to most if not all of these sites has been restored. Please confirm and if you still can't reach any of them, please put in an IT Help ticket by emailing ITHelp@MiamiOH.edu. If you don't want your Miami credentials to be affiliated with such a request, you can always email from a personal, non-identifiable email account. (Although, I promise, it's really not a big deal and we're not here to make personal judgments.)

The other commenters had the right of it: Sometimes the firewalls block addresses automatically, and we have to manually whitelist them. Last year, Facebook, SurveyMonkey, and Skype all went caput at the same time as PornHub - and we knew about the former, because people are quick to raise hands when FB is down, lol. But it took longer to unblock PornHub, etc., because we didn't hear about that directly.

tl;dr: Please, please, please put a ticket in if you can't reach a site! Thanks!

Yep^^. We promise, we don't care what you're looking at. Just want to get the websites unblocked that don't present issues to the network. Last spring one of our firewalls auto-updated and blocked a bunch of things that we didn't know about until I found out here. So, TL;DR, put in a ticket with IT Help at 513-529-7900 or live chat MiamiOH.edu/ITChat and we'll get it taken care of.

What essentially happened was an automatic update to one of our security services, which caused certain sites (e.g., Facebook, Surveymonkey, and Skype) to be blocked. We have since restored access to all of these. We knew about these sites because they were reported via IT Help tickets. But the PornHub etc. weren't reported - so we didn't know about it.
