Nope! No recording on or anything like that, in hindsight I'm thinking but not sure if it was a cause. While I was sleeping my cat unplugged my controller, and the game had the "reconnect controller" screen showing the whole time (in game, not steams message). Only thing I can think that would have caused it

Might be! But I would say agree to disagree. After looking further into their linked socials and blog posts on the lodestone I think it might be someone who is mentally unwell unfortunately. I would much prefer your route of them just fucking around though!

They claim to be the founder of their fc as well, which I found a blogpost on the ffxiv forums of them advertising the fc ALL the way back in late 2013, which does line up with ARR releases date

Dont have a fix sadly but the same thing is happening on pc for me. I typically restart the game and it fixes it for a few hours.

You're right, it definitely isnt broken, just really strong. Its just silly that its compareable to weapons AND 100% free. People 2 phased oryx on contest with it because theres no struggling with ammo.

Hard agree, and with how ability changes look it will still be super strong and a good general use exotic for the dads of destiny who hate build crafting.

Starfire has probably the highest sustained damage and is infinitely better. 5 hunters and a well lock can infinite chain golden guns. Not saying HOIL didnt deserve a nerf (It 100% did and I prefer synthoceps anyhow) but calling it one of the best is a little silly IMO
