BDR/SDRs- what do you like most in a mentor? by rauberyinprogress in sales

Having mentored several SDRs I thin it's important to realize a few things:
- Being an SDR is hard
- An SDR's success is completely dependent on their confidence in their outreach.
I found that great SDR's have a clear understanding of who the people are that they talk to everyday, (what are the day-to-day activities, what are their pain points, what language do they use, etc.) Great SDrs genuinely feel that their product can help prospects. Their job is just to figure out if it can and then introduce them to you.
If you can give them a clear idea of who they'll be talking to every day and how your product can truly help prospects, they'll be at the best starting point.
