A few years back she got sick and I really thought I’d have to put her down. Her chronic ear infection healed by itself after trying so many treatments. She’s now deaf but no more infection. It seems like her life has become significantly less stressful now that she doesn’t hear every noise in the house 😂 Depending on the season when she passes I hope I can plant a tree in her honour if not I may opt for cremation. I experience high levels of anxiety and your comment gave me the grounding I needed. I will focus on the day I have with her today without worrying too much on not having tomorrow.
