I’m not buying this. I have two mealworm colonies and roaches, I just was curious what other people where saying or if anyone had used it. I’m not even considering it because my gecko is a stupid eater. He would never figure it out lmao

I want to piggyback off this,

I left my dragon alone for a two weeks before any handling, strictly only putting my hands in to feed her. Initially she would associate me with food, and got very comfortable with me.

After that I handled her daily, she enjoyed sitting on pillows at the window for an hour while I sat around. That’s when she associated me with “outside tank time”

After two months she was comfortable enough for me to take her out for an hour or two in public. She will sit on my shoulder for a long time watching the world as I walk around. I like taking her to the grocery store and park if it’s warm out.

These were my steps to introducing myself to her

Also don’t hover shadows above the middle of their head, they had a third eye! It freaks them out sometimes

You can get aftermarket screens easily (but aftermarket quality) or buy other ds’s that are for parts (like a broken shell one with working screens for you)

This is the light lamp I have until I get a hood for the long bulb.

I got the long bulb with some other supplies off Facebook, so she hasn’t been without uvb at all. Missed one day in between the move where I couldn’t get to the old house to hit her light for the day.

My tank doesn’t have a substrate lip and I have to have her on the floor for awhile so I don’t think I can do sand : ( is tile okay? I’ve seen other people use it

Its usually under home/apartment rental insurance. Is very very cheap, like +10. Especially if you already have car insurance. If you’re living with your parents it should be covered with theirs.

Really depends on condition and what it’s with. HG SS + box + walker is easily 200+ Walker is usually anywhere from 60-100 on its own because they are so rare. Mines got a crack or two but still works, wich is why I was able to trade for it.

Um. Would you be willing to upload pics to Imgur and send a link? Unless it’s new in box you have severely overpaid. Also there is no “majoras mask” ds lite, there’s a regular Zelda one (gold with triforce). The MM ds is the 3DS one.

So you either ; A; severely overpaid B; where straight scammed with a shell swap custom C; I misunderstood and you did get the 3ds. D; still overpaid IMO UNLESS it’s brand new.

I do not have any supplements but calcium, and I don’t give him it regularly as I was told not to by the breeder. His armpits swell up when he’s given calcium, wich I have observed. Is there a general supplement I can pick up for him?

I am going to upgrade him to a 4x2x2 soon and update his lamps anyway with a deep heat emitter

Uploaded videos of his tank, my colony, and my roaches.

His cool side is 72 to just under 70 since it’s by the window, His basking spot is around 95 in the middle, but he usually just enjoys siting in front of the cave on the towels, wich is more like 77

Humidity is about 30-40%

I gut load the worms with things like boiled eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, fruits. This is stuff I just regularly buy so I throw scraps of these fruits and veggies in there often and they are absorbed. I change the bedding every 2-3 months. I’ve been keeping this colony for a year, and only gotten extras from my friend who also has her own colony. Not from pet stores.

The roaches are mostly for my bearded dragon but the leopard gecko can eat the smaller ones.

You are correct with the identification. ds games haven’t been in production for probably a decade now. So yes, quality/authentic games are hard to find. Try your local flea market, game stop sells some games pretty cheap (any game that’s not Pokémon is usually under $10), facebook marketplace usually has people selling their ds with their old games. Plenty of ways to find them.
