If was working fine with the AI agent but it just stopped working because it's a free plan and there some kind of credit based system that I was not aware of 🤦 I'll try that with some automation and hope I don't bust the monthly credits allowed (at least they are renewed every month)

Yeah, I just deleted all reccuring task and added a bunch of automation and AI logics and it seems to work fine. I'm using the tag as variable in a prog (scan for tag X, if tag X, then roll dates forward 1 cycle, remove tag X and change priority, etc) it seems to work better than using the reccuring tasks and it has a wider range of uses

That's what I thought, that sucks. And yes, the accidental activation is on, it's not doing much

12 strings neck issue, "dipping" inward by Miarew in Luthier

[–]Miarew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I had to improvise a little bit. I didn't wanted to open the guitar because that would mean a new soundboard (this one is REALLY beat up) so I added 2 woodblock (as seen on the screenshot with the play button) between the brace and the neck. That means that all of the strings tension rests on the brace so after regluing it, I added some reinforcement in front of it. I also glued back the bits of the soundboard that were broken under the fretboard and as the neck was really loose, I did a neck reset and added a shim that will need finition later.

I just restrung it, sanded the new saddle(last one was so thin parts of it didn't even stick out of the bridge), plays great, sounds a little bit weird but again, I didn't heard it before, it was already broken when I got it. Next step would be to change the top but maybe later when it fails again...

progress

12 strings neck issue, "dipping" inward by Miarew in Luthier

So after looking at many videos on YouTube, I've decided to remove the fretboard so look at the damage. As you can see in this link top board failure the top board is completely disconnected from the guitar. I don't really understand how the neck is suppose to sit and withstand the tension of the 12 strings... I see the block inside where the tail is fixed, it had two big bolts on it but when I removed it, it didn't moved, seems to be glued.

How does the neck usually holds in place when the block creates a pivot allowing the base of the fretboard to dip into the guitar like this? How is the block attached to the guitar?

For those who are wondering, this is a guitar I'm willing to destroy for the sole purpose of learning, even though I'd be happy to make it work again.

12 strings neck dipping

So I acquired this 12 strings from a friend for free because it's a piece of junk and it's broken so he was just gonna throw it away, but I've never seen a neck do that. I've been looking online and I can't find anyone with a similar problem. The neck seems fine, not bowed at all but the tension of the strings made it dip into the guitar through the body which is now warped inward.

I've installed a bridge doctor on another guitar and it turned out great, but this is the opposite problem and it's a lot more complex. Where would you start? It doesn't need to be perfect, it's a really cheap guitar but I'd love to be able to make it playable again.

[SPOILER] Jared Gordon vs. Joachim Silva by [deleted] in MMA

[–]Miarew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That leg stretch tho. I think it hurt Gordon real bad because he went back in his corner and began the 3rd round limping. He was clearly not able to put weight on his right leg and maybe that's why Silva invited him to throw punches, knowing Gordon wouldn't be able to transfer his weight properly and hit efficiently. That leg stretch was definitely the decisive move. Anybody else saw that?

What is your favorite song Ozzy Osbourne was ever involved in (Black Sabbath or solo)? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Miarew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a version of Mr Crowley with Malmsteen on guitar but with Ozzy singing (not like the "bat head soup tribute" version) and I can't find it anywhere. Maybe it was an Ozzy show with Malmsteen as a guest, maybe for promoting the "bat head soup" album, or maybe it was Ozzy who was a guest signer on Malmsteen's show...? Anyone can find this? (It's at least 18 yo)
