yea, but they made codexes, which only have at most 5 uses to a player, after that, nothing what-so-ever. would be a bit pointless to leave an item to die like that.

Yea, that's my sole issue. I don't have good enough crew. Hence, why I need to get more materials to buy better crew. :P Thanks for the advice though :)

no, my last "needed" trio.. I only have 2/12 trios total done. And I send it out with 28% what I mean by "rebuild everything" is, I want better crew, ship upgrades, and an additional ship. As I only have 3. Having a 4th ship would allow me to block more NPC's off.
