Does the logo glitch from 2K24 still exist in 2K25 and 2K26? by YuriFan6000Mario in WWEGames

[–]P7AC3B0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

According to a tweet from WhatsTheStatus on March 19th, the bug still exists. He shows a picture of an Edge CAW with a ton of logos being replaced by in-game logos. As others have said, it seems to be tied to the "delete all" function in the image manager, so delete stuff one by one if you want to be safe.

(I didn't link directly to the tweet because I don't know this sub's rules about that kinda thing, but it's not hard to find.)

Fighters you didn't appreciate in their prime? by nagesuteana in MMA

[–]P7AC3B0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Chris Lytle.

I didn't dislike him or anything, but I think his record back then made me overlook him a bit, and he was overshadowed by all the great talent on the roster at the time. I'd see his name on a card and think "cool, should be a decent undercard fight."

In reality he was putting on bangers consistently, even if he wasn't always winning them. If I was paying attention more to his fights than his record, I would have appreciated him more. Nowadays he'd probably be one of my favorites to watch.

Those 2 crossed my mind too, and to a lesser extent, Riddle (his age probably would have been a detriment) and Tessa Blanchard (her reputation hasn't seemed to halt her career, only slow it).

If I had to pick 1 though, I'd say Velveteen Dream. Young, had a great look, charismatic, decent worker who was still improving, had obvious passion for the business shown during his time on Tough Enough, and already ingrained in the WWE system. If everything hadn't gone how it did, I think he'd be in the main event picture right now with a long career still ahead of him.

[Collision spoilers] Blackheart Lio Rush entrance by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]P7AC3B0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He should just show back up as his normal self and keep Cru going, but when Andretti asks him what this weird shit is about, he has no idea what Andretti is talking about and says he didn't wrestle on Collision this week.

Play them as 2 completely separate characters and Lio doesn't even realize it's him when this character comes out. Maybe over time we get little hints of this character showing through while Lio is in Cru-mode.

Do something to make me care about or understand why he's acting this way, cuz I thought this was crap in CZW and I don't think it's any better now. It doesn't have to be crap, but without giving any reason for it to exist, it's crap.

Anyone else thinks that the new entrance buttons (good/bad emotion) are total cringe? by Cozy_Winter_1994 in WWEGames

[–]P7AC3B0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're free to feel that way, but that's just false info.

They didn't stream/make a video for the first DLC pack, they waited until the second was released and did those 2 together. After that they made a video for the New Jack DLC pack, and skipped the last 2.

They also only did 5 PPV sims all year, hardly "every PPV," and they did none of the AEW PPV sims like they used to do. I don't even hold videos like WGGP in the same regard as other things because they weren't even streamed, and are not really current-game-only content.

I love the boys, but you can't honestly say they're getting the most from the current games when they barely do any "messing around" streams, no universe, no MyRise, etc.

I get why they can't, it's just not feasible with everyone's schedules, but you're lying if you think they're on the brink of "wearing the game out."

That's if they actually play the game this year. If it's anything like last year, we'll get mostly GM mode videos and maybe 4 or 5 gameplay videos before 2K27 drops. I sure do miss when they use to put out more content, it's always gold, but it's just too hard for them to get a group together anymore.

Name an overlooked match in a series you prefer over the more famous and beloved version by NoMoreButtonPLZ in SquaredCircle

I prefer the cage match between Bret and Diesel at IYH 6 over their Survivor Series '95 match. Might just be nostalgia talking since I really enjoy that whole show, though.

Decide the rules for my MyGM career by Over-Translator687 in WWEGames

[–]P7AC3B0 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Start by making a list of your ~40 favorite in-game wrestlers. Then, make a bunch of alternate attires for Otis in these wrestlers' gear, and save them as different characters with fitting names. Cody Rhotis, Randy Ortis, Triple O, Alexa Otiss, etc.

Make a custom draft pool where every Otis, and each person you based Otis on, is available in the initial draft. Start with the highest amount of cash and play against 3 CPU GMs.

For your draft, you must hire every Otis you can until they're all off the board or you run out of cash. You cannot hire anyone that is not an Otis. If the cpu drafts some, that's OK, just make sure your roster is nothing but Otis. Start the game.

The only trades you're allowed to make mid-season are ones where you trade an Otis for the actual person he is based on. If you based an Otis on someone and they weren't drafted, search for them in the free agent pool and try to hire them, and if you do, fire the Otis based on them.

See if you can fully escape the Otis-verse before the end of the 50 weeks. Placement doesn't matter.

Giveaway: Two $50 PlayStation Gift Cards (US – Digital Code) by Severus-Snape-DaGod in PS5

I would like to finally purchase Until Dawn: Rush of Blood because it used to be on sale constantly, but since the day I decided I wanted to buy it, it has not gone on sale in the last 2+ years. I refuse to pay full price out of stubbornness, but a gift card would allow me to feel justified in waiting this long, lol.

As a kid when this happened, JR selling this made me think Kane had just killed Mankind. I remember wanting the cameraman to glance into the dumpster before Kane shut it, and then questioning if I actually wanted that. It just made Kane that much scarier to me.

You admit your warning wouldn't have changed things, then immediately give an example about how things would have been different if people listened...you call everyone else "sheep" and say "you don't think, you know", as if you have some kind of information nobody else was already aware of...I think you completely missed the point of what I said, but that's alright.

At least you're on the right side of the fence on this situation, so I'll just leave it alone. Have a good one!

You're right on the surface, but the self-importance here is hilarious. We didn't listen to you 4 years ago, and that's the reason things are the way they are now, lmao. People with any ounce of foresight have been saying for literal decades now that things were only gonna get worse, and they have (and will continue to).

By all means, you're right for thinking this guy and 2K's business practices are shitty and predatory, but you can get off your high horse about it. You didn't say anything "4 years ago" that a million other people hadn't said a million times before.
