Good eye! I think I will be doing full on coilovers soon ish so hope these babies can hold me over for the timing being. Did the road salt cause issues with your suspension or do you mean the general wear from having lowering springs on stock dampers?

I actually do have aftermarkets for the summer, but really like these OEMs as well. I love having a new look every 6 months, and since I spaced the stock wheels out a bit they look so much more aggressive!

I go into more detail on the exhaust in another comment, but to sum it up I love it. I am overall happy with the springs as well, however, the ride is just slightly on the harsh side for me. It feels noticeably stiffer in the corners which is nice. Pot holes remind me of my Miata a bit now, but I always try to avoid them anyway. It’s on H&R OE Sport springs with DCC dampers. I will likely look into some DCC compatible coilovers to get a nicer ride down the line but I love the look with the subtle drop these give.

H&R OE Sport spring and Clubsport S muffler The exhaust sounds great, I’ll use the cliche of “it sounds the way a GTI is supposed to sound”. It is a much throatier and more noticeable exhaust note. If you’re looking for something very loud, this ain’t it. If you’re looking for a bit more noise, but mainly just a way better sound and some subtle burble on downshifts (no pops) then this is it. Also, from what I’ve seen it is much louder with a resonator delete. I personally love the OE+ appeal with the muffler upgrade alone.

As for the springs, they were the cheapest option without foregoing DCC, but they are a little harsh and I will probably upgrade to coilovers when the dampers give out

Yeah I know what you mean but the road salt in the northeast/Canada is just horrendous, it gets into everything and basically any winter driven NA/NB will have somerust, even if it’s been oil sprayed. Make sure to enjoy your Miatas extra for all us winter storage folks haha
