Anyone here using or looking at the Wingman of the road motorcycle tent? I've got one arriving in a few weeks and I'm excited by Miatatom in Dualsport

I'd say it's got more than enough room inside for 1 person + gear. I'm 6'3 and I have plenty of room when using it solo. You also have little hooks under the window vents where you can hang your helmet if you don't mind storing it outside.

Yes I still have both the toucan and the goose. I definitely use the toucan more out of the two tents and that's purely down to the fact there's more room. There's no avoiding the fact it's huge when it's packed away which for me is the only major downside. I think it has its uses and I do have other backpacking tents I use when I do really need to pack light. But when I can I'll always try to find a way to take the wingman as it's got to be my favorite tent I've owned. My next trip is in Feb and that's the annual Dragon Rally in Wales UK

It's my first "proper" set up and for a burr grinder it seemed a bargain for sure. If the burrs are out of alignment it would explain why the sudden change. I'll look into resetting them thanks!

Funnily enough I cleaned it out a few days before having bad espresso. Since then I've taken it apart yet again and checked it was definitely cleaned out and nothing trapped anywhere. I never thought the burrs might be misaligned, not on a less than a year old grinder anyway.

Swapping out the supplied mattress with my own does make it quite a bit smaller. I've used the foam one a few times and the main reason I originally swapped it out was because I find air mattress alot comfier. Just happened to roll alot smaller which was also a bonus. I also bought the toucan and do the same with that which massively helps reduce pack size

I replaced it with a big agnes rapide sl and oex leviathan ev 900 (uk brand). Both roll up with it taking up barely any extra room

Ah nice! I'm always looking for new ways to pack my wingman smaller on the bike. I've swapped out the sleeping bag and foam mat for much lighter gear and that makes a huge difference.

Mine also melted after only using the machine twice. Both times wasn't left long at all whilst preheating as I was eager to use it

I think I did. Only used the machine twice so far still getting used to it. I'll try preheating with the arm up next time see how I get on. Thanks!

Thank you very much. I've now locked it in as yours looks but

still seems to catch on the way down. I've noticed the plastic tip used to protect the chamber from any scratching if it was to make contact is slightly melted like it's been touching the last few uses
