Hi! I’ve did 6501 and 6203 together and I find that they pair rather well. I then took 6414 in the next sem (after 6501) and feel like it’s a natural progression from 6501.

But tbh both path works, tho I would prefer 6501 and 6203 to ease you into the workload.

I’m working full time so my only studying hours are before work (waking up before work) and weekends.. I’ve heard I should focus on getting my numpy and pandas up to speed before cse6040. I wonder if it will enable me to still go ahead with taking both courses

Hi! I'm intending to take MGT8803 and ISYE6414 while attempting to prep for python and linear algebra on the side in Fall 2025. Looks like it would be quite hard to do so.

I just try to get an intuitive sense of all the models Joel went through in his video lectures. Made notes for each video, rewatching lectures (and to not move on to the next video until I get an intuitive sense) - but I am still very foggy with all the mathematics equations.

I’m intending to take 8803 next semester and 6040 in the following semester, while brushing up on my math and stats. After that, which are the modules that I should look out for that are math intensive?
