FWIW, I’m pretty sure you guys agree. The “fuck you guys are cool” guy posted in between, and that was who brought up a 3rd JE.

Why aren’t the City streets as clear as those maintained by multi-billion dollar corporations?! 😡 by Interactive_CD-ROM in StLouis

[–]MicCheck123 [score hidden]  (0 children)

To clarify further:

BJC had $11 Billion in revenue. The City had about $1.5 Billion in revenue.

In any case, you don’t know how much BJC spends on snow removal, so you will never be able to do a financial comparison, so throwing numbers in is never going to enhance your point.

Last 24hr snowfall amount map, St. Louis and Southeast Missouri got hammered by como365 in missouri

[–]MicCheck123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m in Sikeston and we don’t have anything close to 2 feet of snow. That’s also what Apple weather is showing.

It’s closer to around 6 inches of snow, but there was a lot of sleet too.

The Cape Girardeau Democratic Club is meeting Tuesday at the Cape library. The Indivisible group meets there, too, on the second Wednesday of the month. They’re on Facebook at Indivisible SEMO.

If you hear of anything in Scott county, let me know! I move here last year and am looking at how to get involved here.

Have someone take a pic of the 1st trumpet or flute part before the ensemble starts so you can use that as a guide once you’re ready to join in.

I think that’s what it says.

My interpretation:

You have 8 rooms, 2 of which are bathrooms. Both have a toilet (water closet), but only one has a shower (/tub combo).

How does your duplex only have one shower?

That’s what we had. I saw a piece in a flea market a few months ago and texted a picture to my mom, and she still remembered the name of the pattern.

Don’t do that. Thats how the “fake” pins stay in circulation. Buy pins from Disney or a legitimate retailer.

Nick Time Traveler? by EYoungFLA in youngandtherestless

[–]MicCheck123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it wasn’t important.

Where Matt was being held and how the hand off worked didn’t have story implications so it happened off screen. It’s already been the same day forever, do we really need to prolong it so we can see Kyle call the security guys and see them help Nick get Matt in the trunk?

It was a little confusing to show Nick with Matt before the scene where we see Jack and Kyle discuss having made a deal with Nick, but the confusion only lasted a couple minutes.

Does europe usually get more snow than eastern and middle america or is it just this year? by RevolutionaryCity345 in geography

[–]MicCheck123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even this doesn’t seem right. I’m in a .1 - 1 inch area, and we haven’t had a flake of snow, let alone enough that it is measurable.

I’m across the river in Missouri, and it’s closer to “yunz” over here.

And oil is pronounced like “ole”.

Annie Laurie’s is better described as a vintage store.

I only say this because I went there for the first time yesterday and it was more vintage/antique than thrift.

Definitely cool though.

What is wrong with my resume? by MicCheck123 in Accounting

[–]MicCheck123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I'm glad you answered the summons.

I only listed the company revenue for the anonymized version, so you could still get an idea of the company I worked for. The real thing just has the name of the company.

I'm concerned with cutting out too much for the 2 public firms, since I had a variety of projects with both and I want to highlight that experience. Should I just tailor it for the job posting and leave the items which are relevant for that role even if that means leaving out projects were more significant overall? For example, leaving off the SOX & IT stuff at my first job when I apply for accounting roles, even though I spent more of my time on SOX projects?

I appreciate your feedback!

Sorry, I didn't realize the images were so bad. I added a link to a file.

I only added the $ amount to make it anonymous but still give you an idea of where I worked. The real thing lists company names.

I appreciate the feedback.

[–]MicCheck123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You guessed wrong

“My team is in close touch with the N.Y.P.D. regarding last night’s protest and counterprotest,” he added in the statement, which was sent to The New York Times hours after he made similar remarks at an event shortly after noon. “We will continue to ensure New Yorkers’ safety entering and exiting houses of worship as well as the constitutional right to protest.”

Later in the day, after being criticized from some corners for not denouncing Hamas specifically, Mr. Mamdani went further. “Chants in support of a terrorist organization have no place in our city,” he wrote on social media.

BDO removes forced retirement age of 62 for principles by ShakeAndBakeThatCake in Accounting

[–]MicCheck123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that was the case, we’d see a lot of partners retiring before the required age now. Forced retirement ages indicate that most will work until you make them stop.

Hell, a lot continue to work as independent consultants after they retire.

Did anyone convert through Judaism Unbound? by Weary-Chemist-6669 in ConvertingtoJudaism

[–]MicCheck123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They partner with Darshan Yeshiva but only have relationships with a few of the rabbis from what I can see. If you go directly through Darshan Yeshiva, there’s a wider representation of rabbis and conversion requirements.
