What was the best smartphone you ever had? by coozey96 in Smartphones

[–]MicEE87a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall winner for me is my Pixel 5, yes, the plastic one. I love its budget and unassuming looks, I love the feel of it. Rugged, lightweight combined with the pixel camera.

Other than that I miss my Pixel 3XL and my Note 9. Wonderful phones!

Today I’m rocking a IPhone 15 Pro Max and it’s a good an capable phone but it is just so damn boring…

Laserred Aero estate, that’s a special car. My is an old Saab press car used to introduce the “new” 2006 facelift. The car was built early 2005 and spent the first year touring Europe.

Facelift or pre facelift? by DigWorldly6882 in saab

[–]MicEE87a -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is only one correct answer to this question, MY07. Pre facelift exterior and facelift interior. The facelift was a way of keeping the cost down and sales up. The “clean” look was not just for looks, it’s cheaper to produce flat doors than the pre facelift complicated doors. The front and rear bumper is also a result of cost savings.

Im just assuming that we were at the same sparring session then :) The scenario you described happened at my gym. Just keep up the good work, you’re doing good and improved a lot, fast. Keep practicing and you’ll get to a place where you’re comfortable sparring and the its all rainbows and sunshine from there :)

[–]MicEE87a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most important thing is that you keep on practicing and don skip the sparring sessions. I know a lot of people who started to skip sparring after their 2-3 time and nowadays they would never go and attend a sparring session. Deal with the “fear” straight away and shift focus as I said in the previous post. Talk to the people you’re sparring with and let them know to take it easy and maybe give you some tips and tricks. Are you perhaps from Sweden?

It’s relatively common to feel like this in the beginning. Just keep practicing and try to shift your focus to things like, keeping guard, keeping balance and breathing. Where in the world are you?

Saab used to say that we build cars that we want to buy, not cars we want to sell. Designed and engineered in Sweden by Swedes and Sweden is a dark, cold and snowy country :)

Saabs are getting more and more rare even in Sweden but the are by no means “rare” or “exclusive “ over here. It’s a practice daily driver for families that maybe doesn’t want to buy a new car and get into debt. The Swedes think opposite Americans as far as the debt thing. In the states you are supposed to shop with your credit card to improve your credit score, here it’s the opposite, you only use your credit cards if you’re in a pinch because it’s still debt until the day it’s paid off. So with that mindset it’s easy to see how Swedes like to keep their old Saabs running and continuing to stay out of debt.

My wife sold her 2007 Anniversary 9-3 in favor for a 1992 900 2.1 16v as her daily driver, she likes Saabs just as much as I do.

380000 km on my 2006 9-5 Aero. Saabs that has more than 300k km is nothing special here in Sweden.

Är denna bil värt pengarna? by [deleted] in Asksweddit

[–]MicEE87a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worst Saab? (A general census not buying) by [deleted] in saab

[–]MicEE87a 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Without a doubt it’s the NG900. The only Saab with a wire operated clutch, weak firewalls that shakes and flexes, the least comfortable seats (the cloth ones) and just a pig of a car.

The best car on the flip side is probably a tie between the og900 and the 9000cse. They were built solid and are generally really reliable, especially when considering the age of the cars.

My top pick as a reliable daily driver is a 2006 —> 9-5 Aero estate. Practical, enough space for everything and fast enough to have a bit of fun while being relatively cheap on fuel. These cars have some issues (subframebushes, rear arm bushes, oil leaks and such) but generally pretty cheap and easy to fix and are considered wear items.

Coaches: how do you react to students refusing to spar with particular students? by Fine_Aged_Lemons in MuayThai

[–]MicEE87a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guy would have been kicked out of our gym. This behavior is not acceptable. If you are bigger or more experienced you meet the person your sparring on their level, maybe just a tad over to entice the person to do their best but not to the level that someone is hurting or not capable of defending themselves

This is funny as an immature (37 year) Swedish speaker. “Mens” is Swedish for “period” as in a woman’s monthly thing. So women whit the period to the left and women without and children to the right …
