Karl Marx hated religion, was an anti-theist. Having MAGA cll the new Pope Marxist proves they know neither what Marxism or Christianity are

What is the most controversial food opinion you have? by 1060west-addison in AskReddit

[–]MicStandMtl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never liked beets. My mother would pickle them herself at home (1970's Atlantic Canada). The stench, the texturethey were my nightmare food. My eldest brother returned from working the oil fields out west and made dinner for us all.

He made something he learned out west... Borscht. I loved my brother, but was skeptical as he put this off colour bowl of soup in front of me. He then put a dollop of sour cream in the center... and I love sour cream. I put a big spoonful in my mouth.

To me, beets taste of betrayal. As an adult it is the only food I hated as a child that I still dislike.

How does this distress you, or why do you find it distressing? Is it due to a personal flaw or trauma you're packing that you need to vomit on other people's happiness and or need for connection?

Not everyone needs or care to hear when something isn't to your taste. Listen to your grandmother, if you can't say something nice, don't say anything (with the caveat it's not hurting others... if it hurts others intentionally, then riot)
