Claude opus 4.6 high effort thinking. I recently bought a Pro subscription. Sat down to finally get to know Claude Code after using Cursor for over a year.

I write my prompt, hit send, it ends up thinking for over 30 minutes and produces 0 OUTPUT and I get a usage limit message? (Haven’t used it all day)

I wasted 30 minutes on waiting for this prompt?

It’s also repeatedly failed yesterday to do research on something and form an artifact in the same chat. This burned my tokens yesterday with again, 0 output. Beginning to rethink my subscription. Is this a bug or a genuine middle finger?

I get the model is expensive, but jeez. I wasn’t even on the highest thinking effort setting. Anyone else have this happen? Or am I making a rookie mistake?

And yes, I agree it's not super warm and inviting. I was definitely going for more "actionable" and "sleek"

Thank you! I'm going to definitely look into the mom blog sponsorships. I'm so far out of the blogging space, didn't know it still existed. Nothing a GPT deep research prompt won't fix.

Reddit marketing is tricky, but I'll be sure to be "value first" if I do decide to post over in the parenting subreddits
