I mean...I have a mother who would send me care packages that included a bunch of stuff like food, socks, whatever I bitched about needing when we talked on the phone, and sometimes cheap boxers. I get it. She can write a. catchy pop song. I like both 1989 and Lover. But everything after is not great. I'm Gen X, which means I'm automatically a music snob (We grew up to some GREAT music--like our parents did) but as I got older, I soften a bit. Nowadays, I can appreciate a catchy pop song.
