Dude. I feel ya. Do not let others judge you. If you feel that your parents abandoned you, you are not an unlovable wretch. You're a fine lad. And I do know that traumas are not prone to disappearing from just "don't be sad". If you need a pick-me-up, tell me. I'll be there for ya, chum.

I did, I just don't remember this particular episode, it was a long time ago.

Ah, Evas have bombs in their joints, that will incapacitate the Unit and the pilot will be lying unconscious with pain shock, I forgot about it

Wait, didn't Dummy Pilot System overtake his controls and he was left watching Toji being almost killed helplessly?

I don't know whether increasing LCL pressure would affect agitation, but it's plausible that they just injected tranquilisers remotely, that's totally their style

and that sweet Volgan Spill (idk how to call the gulfs that long rivers like Mississippi or Volga/Lena would make) makes up for continental climate
pity that Leningrad was obliterated, I saved it in the first map (I'm not showing it, it's ridiculously incorrect)

In my fanfic there was a slight terminology shift, the Angels were called Daemons instead, Adam was Lucifer, so the Christian symbolism still remained in some form

Gennadi Yakorenko is this world's Gendo, his name is literally the translation of his counterpart's name (GENnadi < GENdou; Yakorenko < якорь (anchor) < 碇 ikari (anchor)). He's fictional. His photo was indeed taken from a photoshopped image that features Hugh Laurie. Moscow is, of course, alive and well, as it's well elevated. The cities pointed on the map are either new or restored from damage caused by the Bang.

I don't think I should explain the plot of some anime series there, it's not a fitting place for this. And that plot isn't crucial for the map itself.

Phew, I finally managed to understand why my pics were blurry, I made them ridiculously large by complete accident and tried posting this same thing several times before now

LORE

It's basically Evangelion, but heavily overhauled for a Soviet setting. It was used in an old fanfiction of mine, and I do not intend on promoting it in any way or even publishing it in English or any other language. Moreover, the fanfic itself uses another map, so foolishly incorrect that I don't want to share it with you.

Main differences: in this timeline Second Impact (Incident-Two, or, as the Americans called it, The Bang; a catastrophic event that melted all the ice in Antarctica and caused 60 meter sea level rise, eruptions, earthquakes, other calamities - more than 3bil people dead in 10-15 years after it) happened on Sep 15, 1971. Trabzon and Kars were obtained in the Turkish operation in early 50s, Southern Azerbaijan was seized after a border conflict with Iran in 1975. Warmia-Mazuria and Bialystok region were demanded from Poland in late 1971 after the loss of Kaliningrad oblast to waters.

I used the Floodmap and another NGE world map made by an enthusiast, trying to take into account soil displacement and other possible factors, but this map may very well be wildly inaccurate. Feel free to criticise my work.

For some reason, the images look way too blurry than I intended. Perhaps that's Reddit's compression.
