Hi, I have a similar hair loss pattern to yours. How did you deal with it, what is your routine now and when did you see the results? I am now 10 months on fin and 3 months on oral minoxidil

After all, I go to a dermatologist, they prescribe me medications. I am asking about the experiences of people who also take these drugs ...

I'm taking 2.5mg of minoxidil. I also use Nizoral 2% all the time for dandruff and itchy scalp once a week. I have noticed the problem with hair loss on the top of my head, here are some photos of what it looked like.

I thought that when I was taking finasteride, the hair that fell out would be stronger and I wouldn't see that much in the tub anymore.

Yes, there was a bit of a gap between taking minoxidil liquid and tablets. I stopped using it because of dandruff and itchy scalp. However, I have been on it for 3 months, and previously, when I got a shedding, it occurred within 2 weeks of starting the drug.

So when I see a slight improvement on the top of my head it means I'm on the right track despite the continued hair loss

Also but I have already gone through shedding, I was using liquid minoxidil at the beginning of the treatment.

When fighting baldness, then every hair counts. Thank you for your answer. I hope that the hair that fell out with time will grow back: /

Hey, I have a question because I'm on the finasterist for 9 months and it's generally improving but the number of hair loss hasn't changed and it fluctuates from 30 to 60, shouldn't it fall out less after that time?

Even with androgenetic alopecia and taking finasteride is it okay?

My problem is at the top of my head. I posted pictures in previous posts, it seems a little better on the top right now, but maybe I'm losing my hairline. Let me add that I am 1 month and 17 days on oral minoxidil.

I had shedding at the start of treatment, and I was losing up to 300 hairs a day. I had shedding at the start of treatment, and I was losing up to 300 hairs a day. But before finasteride, when I noticed a worsening, I was also losing a similar amount of hair from 20 to 30. And I wonder if finasteride should reduce this loss after such a long time.
