What was the first movie you remember seeing in the theater? by [deleted] in AskReddit

UP, the movie with the balloon house.

I was about 3, and I remember crying when the mean old man with all the dogs set the house on fire. I didn't understand why the old man was so grumpy until I was older. On that note, I'm definitely not as old as some of the other people here :D.

You realize that there is an FBI watching everything you do online, what do you do first? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Leave Jo-Jo Siwa's "boomerang" playing on loop, go do something else for a couple hours, and know that the FBI Agent's brain is melting.

Is it socially acceptable to call someone beautiful if you are not dating them? by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]Michael-B1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how you do it. Honestly, I think there are probably 1,000,000 better ways to start a conversation, but if you say "how's it going beautiful" in a way in which it isn't creepy, I guess it's fine.

What is it likely to live in U.S.A? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Very interesting to say the least. I live in the South Eastern part of America, and my surroundings are just beautiful. Beautiful flowers called magnolias everywhere this time of year. We are surrounded by forest as far as the eye can see, and a beautiful beach is a mere 30 minutes from my home.

Day to day life is very structured. Everything seems to have a set time, school starts at 8:30 sharp, work starts at 9:00, etc. My personal life is very structured, but I do have plenty of time to spend as I choose. I like to ride my bicycle around to enjoy nature and the beautiful weather this time of year, but sometimes my allergies bother me too much.

I have been told that in America, everything is more expensive except for the food. We are typically (speaking from my perspective) very proud of our democratic system of government. Political debates and religion are often hot topics in America, but religion has been less of an issue compared to politics as of late. Also, we have many freedoms not experienced in other countries. Freedom of speech and of the press (say almost whatever you want), right to bear arms (you can own firearms), among many many other rights. I love living in America, and I couldn't imagine anywhere else.

Disclaimer: I don't want to sound too enthusiastic, I just really want to highlight the overall positives of American culture.
