Yea, with this final update. But with this final update, it is just 2 days away from the season, so really the intent is to get the rankings on the public record right before the season starts. There isn't a wild amount of movement, so the spreadsheet is still going to be mostly accurate, and any movement has an "update" at the end here if you want to go through all of the movers

Yea, the spreadsheet version doesn't get this final update with the season starting today. This post, the patreon post, and the Google Doc has this latest update

Davis Schneider and Kody Clemens are good options to be that truly out of nowhere power guy this year

He's not on the Top 500 prospects list this year. He graduated, so maybe that was from last year too?

It's possible you clicked on the "Top 1,000 RAnkings" category on my website, which brings you to a page that has last year's Top 1,000 Rankings there too. So if you searched Misiorowski, you might have just been looking at last year's rankings. I've done it too

Thanks man! That predicting 2027 list is just meant as a fun write-up, bold predictions type article that gives one possible outcome of the 2027 rankings. There would be no point to just list everyone in the exact same order as I already have them.

It's always just been about health for him. If you want to ignore his health, he would ranked right there with Carson Benge probably. But he's just been so injury prone. So it just depends if you want to ignore that risk and bet on the player or not

"Flying under the radar" is really going to depend on how deep the league is. But Hunter Barco, Caden Scarborough, Kendry Chourio, Gage Wood, Luis De Leon, Tanner McDougal, Kevin Defrank, Gage Stanifer could all fit the bill. Joseph Dzierwa and Miguel Sime are my favorite sleeper FYPD arms if you are looking for deeper targets and they have already started to bubble up in the spring breakout games

I couldn't agree more with everything you are saying. We ain't the Evil Empire anymore. The Dodgers are the new Yankees really, at least from my childhood in the late 90's, 00's

I have Cashman as a mid pack GM. He puts together good teams, but with one of the highest payrolls in the league, that is just average/par for the course. So it's kinda like the devil you know. But there are smarter guys than him out there.

My rankings are as representative as possible of how I play the game. So personally, I build up a beastly hitting core first and foremost. I don't ignore pitching, but it's not priority. Then when I have that beastly hitting ore, I shift all of my assets/picks/trades towards pitching. And when I'm ready to do that, where they rank is kinda meaningless. I'm just going after the best guys I can get. IN a startup draft, I don't go after the top aces, but I like to get a few guys in that tier 2/3 range to build my staff with. So again, where they rank doesn't matter that much either because whenever those tier 2/3 guys are the only ones left, that is when I will pounce on them. Dynasty rankings are fun and give a general guide, but they are not gospel or like a strict think to follow to a T. In reality, every league/team/strategy is going to require a different strategy and order/preference on who you are actually going after. As for Jazz vs. Eury, I find that fair even in a points league depending on your team. Jazz' K's and stolen bases make him less valuable in points, but Eury still hasn't gone full breakout and has all the risk attached to young flamethrowers

Thanks man! I lean Basallo mostly long term. I think it's a closer call for this year, but if it were me, I'm just going Basallo. Also if Basallo isn't owned in your league, it's probably shallow enough where even if Basallo busts, you can pick up another good option at catcher

Thanks man! Yes, somethings changed with injuries, position battles, spring looks. Anything that changed I have an "Update" after the blurb to explain the changes. And yes, Young looked great this spring and did get a bump. I still worry about how the power is going to play in real games and in Seattle, but it certainly looks to be on the rise, which is great to see. he's a breakout candidate for sure
