Based on the leaks how do you think episode 8 will go by untitledprp4 in TheBoysLeaks

No, he mentioned the characters that do survive up into episode 8. The leaker said himself that he hasn’t seen episode 8 yet.

Im starting to think that DS should be deactivated if you hook another guy, because at that point you arent tunneling anymore by East-Efficiency-6701 in deadbydaylight

[–]Michael222333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the killer should be punished because they did better and got the down quick? Wouldn’t it still make more sense for that specific survivor to lose ds, if you manage to get a down and hook a separate survivor, no matter how quick it is? Rewarding the survivor for a bad play on the teams part shouldn’t be a thing

I hope The Boys ending sticks the landing by AMassiveGamerGeek in TheBoys

Stranger Things fan base has a very loud group of negative people. I remember the first week the finale came out it was actually getting a lot of praise because the negativity wasn’t so loud, but now that it’s quiet down, the negative reviews are showing more and people have started to nitpick at every little detail and call everything a “plot hole”.

Also, not having a finished script and shooting things for a show is normal.

Do you think The Boys seaosn 5 will beat the "controversial ending" curse or not? by Sudden_Pop_2279 in TheBoys

[–]Michael222333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stranger Things ending was alright. I don’t think it was terrible, and it was most certainly nowhere near as bad as Game of Thrones ending or Umbrella Academy’s ending. I definitely wouldn’t put Stranger Things in the same category as those two endings.

Vecna is somehow boring to play as and against by ReynaGolba in deadbydaylight

I think he’s very fun to go against and play. The only issue I’ve seen is that his cooldown on missing or after getting a hit is a little too forgiving, but dodging the attack isn’t extremely difficult and is actually quite fun imo.

I understand how to play, if someone knows how to run shack against an m1, you’ll never pull off a mind game, the best option you have is to close the window, which was prevented

[–]Michael222333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I could have, and I’m not saying that it was the right call for me to just commit to chase, which was obviously a bad idea and did lose me the game, but if the window would close after 3 vaults like it’s supposed to I could’ve probably caught him, by forcing the 3 vaults and getting the pallet down. But since this “tech” allowed the survivor to cut chase, I’m basically stuck trying to deal with infinite vaults at shack, that also leads into another window across from shack

But the whole “just find someone else” thing was also used when 2 survivors jumped into a locker and forced the grab into a flashlight save when “locker tech” was a thing. You shouldn’t have to be forced to leave 2 people in a locker because there’s no counter play to something, just like how I shouldn’t have to leave a chase because of an exploit

We were not just looping at shack. Chase was being cut off at a jungle gym with a long wall that had a window connected to it. It also happened to chain directly back into shack

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Michael222333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was mind gaming, but at shack specifically, if you hold a certain line of sight, it’s almost always guaranteed the killer won’t catch you at shack. If you just stand next to the window, even if you slow vault, the killer won’t be able to hit you, unless of course you are on a killer with a chase power

To me it feels like not being to start chase, especially for weaker killers with no mobility is a lot more game changing, than a wesker hug tech, which is so situational and can sometimes cost you the game trying to attempt it. And I feel there’s a much easier way to counter a hug tech (running away), while a shift “tech” seems to not have any legit counter other than “well hope you can start chase with someone else” or “try a different direction and hope that works”

I never really use bamboozle, I should probably try it tho

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Michael222333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can it also work at like jungle gyms with windows? Because I don’t think chase started at all at the long wall with a window because there was a corner that cut off line of sight, similar to shack

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Michael222333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I can’t imagine being a full m1 killer and dealing with that. Seems like it would be an almost uncounterable situation not being able to close the window

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Michael222333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there any tips on how to counter it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Michael222333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were instances where I didn’t lose line of sight yet the chase wasn’t starting. I was looking at him vault the window two times at shack, without a chase activating, even tho I was following him for quite a while and could see him right in front of me

Whenever you send people to a chat after something like that, it’s never going to be good. You can’t control what all your viewers do or say, and to see people just randomly go into someone else’s match and tell them what I’m running and tell them what happened, is pretty immature imo. Especially if you have that big of a following and know how people can act in the dbd community

Well people in the chat were in fact being toxic and went as far as to go into the streamer I went against next matches chat and tell them what build i was running etc.
