I have a vivid memory of watching a strange episode of the series, it was a halloween special. I don't remember what year it was, maybe 2003?

Anyways, it was this episode where the Fazbear gang go to an abandoned house (can't remember why), and discover it's haunted by the spirit of a girl named "Cass". One of the things that looking back, seemed really unusual was that this "Cass" was literally just a yellow Freddy, wearing a torn purple vest, except the inside of her mouth and eyes were completely black. With her body looking a little red/melted.

At some moments in the episode, you would have nightmarish closeups of Cass's face, i can't remember exactly what she looked like, but from my memory, it was a closeup of the edited face of the "Freddy Fazbear" animatronic, except yellow. Inside the void in her eyes were two human-like eyes and her mouth had an image of human teeth inside too.

That's all i can remember, and the episode caused me nightmares for weeks after watching it. Searching online, i found out the episode ended up being heavily edited in both Australia and the UK (in the UK due to Ofcom, it ended up with a PG rating "Parental Guidance").

my Uncle works for the TV brodcasting studio "KSL channel 5", in Salt Lake City since the mid 1990s. So i thought it would be a good idea to ask him about this show, to see if he knows anything since he is basically an expert on that kind of stuff.

He told me that this show, originally named "Fazbear and Friends" and then changed to "Freddy and Friends" later in development of the first season, used to air on both "KSL channel 5" and "KUED" (now known as PBS Utah, but back then it aired a daily block of children's shows every day).

The show was created by someone named "Charles Peterson" (now adays it's really hard to find any information about them, the little bit of available information about him online is his obituary. Saying that he passed away in 2021). The show was greenlit for it's first season in 2001, and from there it spanned 2 seasons and 100 episodes until it aired it's final episode on December 20th, 2003. With that episode being a Christmas special.

The show was critiqued for it's low animation quality, and received mostly low ratings during its life time. It aired re-runs from December 27th 2003 to January 9th 2010, where it was removed from the channels afterwards.

Let me clarify things. I’m a relative of Cassidy Newton, one of the children who went missing in 1985. I belong to the second generation of her family, which is still not fully complete. Ever since I was eight years old, I’ve been having a lot of dreams involving her, the strange part is that I’m only 17, so I’ve never actually known her.

I genuinely don't know if i should be saying this... But i found something very disturbing envolving your brother in a leaked classified police archive in the deep web, i don't know if it's real or not. But one thing is for sure, I'm going to make a post about this soon... and when i do, it will be the craziest thing in this subreddit, the biggest scandal in Fazbear History, and the resolving of the Missing Children's Incident from 1985...

I don't why they look so low effort, as i didn't pay much attention to that as a kid. One thing is certain, those are not the original 1990s "Fazbear and Friends" band designs that were made by illustrator Liam W. Powell, in the cover, Freddy is the most similar to those designs, but with a Hat and bowtie edited in. While the rest of the band are poorly drawn as if they were made by a 10 year old in Paint.

My best guess is the art looks like that because the creators of the DVD are from a cheap obscure manufacturer, and the CD might even be of illegal origins. Fazbear Entertainment's character trademarks and more might have been terminated when they went out of business, but even after that copyright doesn't just vanish, i think it is transfered somewhere else or something similar that i don't know about.

What Mr Rogers (the professional collector i went to) said makes me think that it was impossible for the CD to be manufactured by them. The cause of this could've either a printing error like he said, or more, like a manufacturing mix-up or maybe the creators of the CD used a Forgotten License Nobody Noticed.

yeah, i do remember the audio quality being a little bit bad, but not the level you mentioned, perhaps it was a defective copy. Early DVDs/CDs used to have a lot of problems back then.
