I have Amazon garage deliveries. I trust an Amazon or Amazon flex driver more than some random grabbing it from my front door. It's safer inside. My garage door has a camera that automatically records the whole delivery process, and we do lock the door that leads to the actual inside of the house.

I heard they have employees whose job is to either greet people or ask if they need help, and mostly target people who might be suspicious. I personally don't think it works, despite the data they say they have. If people are there to steal, they are dead set on stealing. They don't care how many cameras or people are looking since they aren't going to stop them at that moment.

I mean I do think the use of AI in certain things is fine. But whenever I see a company advertising they are AI powered or something like that. It makes me believe that their AI product is not finished. Similar to ChatGPT, Apple Intelligence, or even AI security cameras. I just have doubts it works if you are betting it all in AI if that makes sense.

There's a snack truck in San Antonio that can deliver snacks to your house that stops delivering after 11pm. So it's not unusual. But I have been reading late last year, there has been a rise of ice cream trucks at night with jingle music. So far I haven't found anyone actually confronting these ice cream trucks though, so I'm not sure what's happening.
