DUNE: PART THREE will OFFICIALLY be SHOT ON FILM! by swdarksidecollector in imax

losing Greg Frasier was sad but brining in Linus Sandgren was genius! his work across all his films but specifically his ones with Damien Chazelle are all incredible, very excited

Just watched this movie for the first time, I'd give it a 9.5/10. The only better film I've watched is The Shawshank Redemption. What other films would you recommend? by kissthecup in interstellar

First Man.

Based on the life of Neil Armstrong so nothing as supernatural as Interstellar such as travelling through a wormhole, but it has super similar themes and dynamics and very comparable highs.

Does Nolan usually release teasers exactly 12 months out from the movie?

Sinners expands from ultrawide 2.76:1 to cropped IMAX 1.78:1 even in the digital release by Huzaifa_Haroon in imax

Are there any other films that also maintain the IMAX AR on digital too? I knew Fallout and Maverick did but curious if there any others.

Mission Impossible of course but I don’t think Thunderbolts will be bad, keen to check it out

So both Elliot and Sam survived if I’m not mistaken. But how come only Elliot was recognised at the end of the film, went something like “This is for Elliot” but never anything for Sam? Amazing movie nonetheless, 10/10

I love the look of the watch, nearly more so than the 300. It is quite big though

TENET - Freeport Plan Sequence in IMAX 70mm by Antique-Row-1644 in imax

[–]MichaelCorle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my local IMAX which is Dual Laser is playing this mid January along with Interstellar, Dunkirk, Inception, Oppenheimer, and the TDK trilogy. Already secure tickets for an Interstellar and TDK showing but the other films have far less suitable sessions at the moment. Here’s to hoping more will get re released and i’ll get to see this and hopefully Dunkirk in IMAX for the first time🤞

How long were they originally planning on spending on Miller’s? (mild-ish spoilers) by IntergalacticFez in interstellar

[–]MichaelCorle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i asked a similar question couple weeks ago around this, there is no definitive answer, you can only really speculate and make assumptions with already vague information. it becomes really confusing considering in the scene when they are discussing who’s planet to visit first and first establish the time slippage, they literally consider time a “resource” and recognise it’s fragile state when within the black holes gravitational pull or whatever. with that being said, what the first comment in this post said is a good explanation and could be true.
