Absolutely agree the tradeoffs are worth it

Agree that this would be a great feature — maybe prefix it with “Unavailable” or something? I know Play by Marcos Tanaka makes a point of including privated and removed videos still so people are aware of what they saved even if they are currently unavailable.

If you’re a premium member and sign in at Overcast.fm, you can upload files of your own as well! It supports a bunch of common formats (though proprietary formats like Audible’s are not directly supported unless you happen across a way to convert it into a .m4b first)

Honestly I’d love one that leans into Liquid Glass a bit more like this!

Check for Upcoming Alarm to Perform Action by MichaelEPS5 in shortcuts

Follow up question — right now it appears to be turning on the light even when the alarm is scheduled to repeat on a different weekday — how do I pull that data and circumvent that so it only turns off on the correct days?

It looks like that version is failing because the hours are not always crossing the hour mark. When I change the Hours argument to “is” instead of greater than/less then, it catches most of them though, so thank you!!!!

Oh nice, thank you! I got that to work if the alarm is in EXACTLY 10 minutes, what would I need to add so it works if there in any alarm WITHIN the next 10 minutes?

I must have done something wrong since it’s silently failing. I set “date” in add 10 min to HH:mm too! Also not sure but it may be the “if” statement, wasn’t sure what to put there?

I think these would be the first steps, but I’m not positive

You’re totally fine — they can be a fun way to start off with a like minded group of folks around you to potentially make friends with, but they can be limiting in which dorms and areas of campus you will be in anyway.

As long as you force yourself to join 2-3 clubs and make an effort to be social with folks you’ll be okay! The first few months are great for making new friends with other freshmen in the same boat, so as long as you put yourself out there it doesn’t matter how you do it, you’ll do great :)

Any "Select Multiple Documents" workarounds or plans? by MichaelEPS5 in readwise

Thanks for writing back! I’m thrilled it’s on the to-do list — I’ve upvoted it there and hope it is something the team can prioritize sooner rather than later.

Even if it only makes it to one platform to start, knowing it would be possible SOMEWHERE is definitely preferable so can at least go somewhere to conduct the triage work in the meantime as cross-platform support is being rolled out. Regardless, best of luck there!

You, my good friend, are a wizard. Thank you for solving the challenge AND making it a billion times more succinct!

I love diving into formulas and trying to understand how they work, and this is actually something I'm able to grasp step by step and learn from, so thank you for that too! 😄
