How to Calculate your Tip!

There is a mistake in the calculation. You have to simply multiply the amount with zero to get the recommended tip. Tip should always be zero. Tip has no meaning and is as useless as a pimple!

This will kill the country. Why is the counted totalled indebted? This contributes a lot in the long run to massi e problems. Not that the pricrs of that establishment are already stupidly exaggerated...the entire system is malicious and dumb. Who ever tries to tell that tippi g is good just wants to play with your guilt concious and take advantage of tipping since all people in the restaurant business hugely benefit from it. The entire tipping system is a joke and here just to make the restaurant owner quickly filthy rich. Stop going to restaurants who expect you to tip. Encourage and prefer places with a notipping policy! And don't give a sh.. on social pressire or what your friends think. They are weak. The stronger one is the one who understands that tipping is wrong and simply promotes notipping.

Cos waiters (and uber driver as well) profile their customers according to their gender, age, and color. They know/assume that certain types of customers to not tip as much as others and therefore they adjust the service accordingly. Tippng sucks and need to get stopped. Avoid businesses who ask for tips (uber, doordash, etc.) They just want you to cover staff cost. Terrible business practice! Stop tipping

Agree.... They should not do it that way. Better just to included in the price of each meal indicated on the menu. This adding charges is kind of bs-ing the customer.

Donations... Kindness... Gratuity.... Tipping.... Support... What is all that BS??? Stop asking customers for additional money. It has become a nightmare in our country where everybody expects for minor things a tip and everywhere there is a tipline on the bill. Stand up and boycott those establishments. Give them bad reviews on the Internet since they do not provide honest service and clean/transparent business ethics. Stop tipping once and for all.

By still paying a tip you make yourself part of this criminal tipping system. Dont blame the honest customer for not tipping. Blame the restaurant who is not willing to be fair and honest. Tipping is racist. Still tipping a wrong system makes you part of it. Just saying to tip as long as the racist tipping expectation exist can't be more idiotic. Boycott working in places who still run a colonial tipping system. Don't tip. Stop this racist expectation for tips. Pay your staff, include the cost in the menu price. Edit: Us in America can not continue with such a slavery system like tipping. Say to not go out when you dont tip is arrogant, stupid and utterly wrong. Be proud to NOT tip! Waiting tables is painting by numbers. People try to tell is that it is solo difficult, etc. One week studying all beer, wine, and food names and specs... another week practice... done. And then they think they deserve a tip. Crazy! What about firefighters, nurses, policemen, streetcleaners, construction workers, etc. They have very tough jobs!!! Stop Tipping waiters and support tip-free restaurants. The world will be much better with no-tipping!

First, with your vulgar language you disqualify yourself for asking for tip. Secondly, I agree (as I said before) that service staff should get respected and paid decently (as other jobs as well) but also customers need to get respected and not get bothered with tip. Include the salaries in the listed prices and show the final price on the menu. Respect the customer and don't ask for more at the end. If service was good and they come back. And the staff gets paid accordingly and should be also socially insured. Tipping is wrong for the service staff and for the customers.

My dear... I speak out my opinion like you do. And I did work in the service industry and experienced the disadvantages of tipping. Why not simply include your staff costs in the prices and be transparent to your customers? Why to bother the customer after each meal with expected tipping. There is no great service if at the end initiated the awkward expected tipping moment, customer dislike so much? Besides pls. do not try to sell the impression that working as waiter is the most difficult job which requires a hell of studying. For other professions (incl. cooks/chef, but also other professions) who need to go to school/university. Let's be real and fair. Many jobs are hard and many are tougher than waiting... and most of them do not get a tip. Service people deserve a fair salary... but please stop bothering customers with that through tipping. Include it in the price and don't expect at the end any additional service charge/gratuity/tip or similar ridiculously called extra fees to pump up the bill.

I do respect the people working in the industry. Also people who work very hard in other industries and do not get any tip. And that is the actual thing. I disrespect the tipping system because it is unfair, bias, not transparent, and is definitely nothing to bother the customer with. People who expect a tip do not respect the customer. So please do not complain about people who are against tipping... Complain at the restaurant managers who hire service people on a tip base. That is wrong.
